Out of sheer boredom, and to prove a point, I created a new female yahoo account for yahoo messenger. I put a cute picture of an attractive girl and a basic profile (not perverted). I will leave her logged in to yahoo messenger for about 2 weeks and see how many messages she gets from guys wanting to hook up with her. I will track the message

jesus christ! I left her on just today and I came home to 12 messages (pop) 13 messages when I got home. I was expecting none since the profile hasnt even been active 24 hours yet. maybe one. I started closin them out and decided I should take a screen shot.... I'll post the pic in my next journal entry.

One thing is for sure I deffinately feel alot more confident in myself. I've messaged girls before who never respond and now I know why. At least i know im not hideously unattractive. One thing is for sure, I'm deffinately NEVER gonna meet a chic from online. I thought the girl:guy ratio was bad enough in the real world, but damn this blows even that out of the water!

ah screw that I'm bored with it already. It hadn't even been a complete 24 hours and I had well over 30 messages all from different guys. Crazy. I don't EVER want to hear a girl make ANY type of comment about not being able to find a guy. Granted 75% of all the IM's were from horny perv's, even if you took only 10% of them being good guys, thats 3 guys in less than 24 hours I could have had a date with. That's just fucked up. A girl will NEVER know what its like to be a guy and how hard it is to find someone to date. Experiment Over!

Yeah it's not hard to find a guy... it's hard to find a decent guy. Even if they act all nice and shit online, most of the time they turn out to be pervs or assholes when you do meet them. I mean your experiment proved the point that you can be anyone or anything you want to online. That is why its a really good idea to be very careful with who you talk to and who you actually meet from online.

LoL. Remember I told you I took my profile down since I gotta over 25 emails in one weekend and I managed to red flag all of them except 4. Out of the 4, 1 was a lier (bachelor #3), 1 was too dorky (bachelor #2), 1 was too wild into drugs and stuff, and there is one I still talk to. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with him - i'm just hesistant to meet him after finding all these things out about the others. But you never know! Online dating is a scary concept for us girlz! But who knows maybe I will meet this guy one day - he has a masters degree and lives right next to my office. I would just rather be safe than sorry.
