I'll go wearing a paper bag on my head like in the old days, just in case the aints have an identity crisis.

I'll be rooting for the Saints, but we all know Miami is going to win.

I don't think I'd be upset with either ending. I'll be especially happy if the Aints beat the Dolphins, though.

And who the hell is Alex Pomes?

The way she presented the quote made it seem like Alex Polmes is someone we should all know. It should have been something like, "My friend Alex Polmes put it best, ..."

Also, why does Les Miles "own your heart" already? He's proven nothing to the LSU community. Saban led us to a national championship. Les Miles has coached a single game so far. IMO, I wouldn't give him that much respect just for getting the job.

Well, I felt he made some good calls, and I want to support him, no matter how exaggerated it may be. I lost faith in Saban in the beginning of last season because I hated how Randall always started.

Would you put a freshmen in over a senior, when the senior needed the experience to make it into the NFL draft? It's all about stats. LSU is expected to release so many students into the NFL. Randall sucked. But Russell didn't prove himself any better to get the starter position. And Les Miles proved nothing last game, except that he's going to bring us a few surprises (that first drive fake punt). Les Miles was ok the first game, but the Tigers made too many mistakes ( ... )

"[Saban] doesn't let emotion get the best of him"

I'm sorry, we are talking about the same Nick Saban who coached the tigers, right? If so then I must sit a LOT closer to the field than Danny because Saban was, to put it lightly, passionate about the game. Ever notice when a player made a stupid mistake or something went really wrong, all the assistant coaches and crew reflexively yanked off their headsets in anticipation of Saban's response. Saban frequently took off his own perhaps out of consideration for others when he disagreed with the ref. For televised games they always had a Saban cam to capture the drama. Ever wonder why players walk back to the sidelines VERY slowly when they played poorly? They're hoping he'll run out of air before they reach the bench!

damn, alex..you can't even write on your OWN journal without being criticized about everything. Anyways..the Dolphins v. Saints game should be quite interesting...I myself want to go.

Outsider, you don't understand. If Alex didn't want to hear people's opinions about the stuff she writes in her journal, she would disable the comments option. I lived with her for a year and I can pick on her if I want. ::sticks tongue out::

booyah.

Not to mention, how would I ever stay away from sanity if Melanie didn't annoy the crap out of me every now and again? :D
