How do you politely ask people to stop sending you political emails? Because really, no matter if I agree or not, I hate that someone is trying to sway me. The last thing I want to do is start an argument over who is right or wrong, but it really offends me that I keep getting 'anti-the party I am personally voting for' from friends/family ( Read more... )

Why would you be worried about offending them? They're obviously not concerned about offending anyone else by send them. Besides that, most e-mail providers allow you to filter your e-mails by keywords.

I hate those things! I'm so ready for this election to be over so that I can stop getting them/stop seeing all the ads on tv!

I'm ready for the phone calls to stop! I don't know how my cell phone number got around to all thousand people running for local office. I kid you not, I got a phone call bashing one candidate, three minutes later, a counter from the bashed candidate. Arghhh.

No not just you, I've only seen one from you maybe once? And I feel comfortable talking to you. It's the 30 per day emails from people I'm not quite comfortable talking to about it...Chad's family, stepfamily, etc. I'm sorry if you thought this post was directed to you, I always forget you even have an LJ!
