Hello everyone..has anyone heard of fibrocystic disease?? I went to the dr today and I have it in both breast,he said its nothing to really worry about..I've been so tired lately he is running about 10 plus blood test to make sure everything is in check ( Read more... )

That really sucks. What type of insurance do you have?

Isn't it a shame you would actually have to gain if you were to lose? I have Tricare and if they cover it at all they will cover it completely. You have to either have a BMI of 40 or a BMI of 35 or higher with co-morbid conditions. I have a couple of them.

Those diet systems are SO expensive too.

Yeah I thought the same thing, I feel like if I would have pushed it he would have pushed it to get it approved, he did say I've tried every diet and failed at it, so on tha part I would pass, I didn't push it becuase I'm not real sure if I want to do it yet, I figure I will start playing ball with church soon and I might drop some pounds then and I think I will do the nutrisystem for a month or two and see how I do with it. If I haven't lost what I want to in a year I will push for the gastric, but right now I don't need another bill

The lady I babysit for has fibrocystic disease...it does not affect her day-to-day life, but her doctor said it is necessary for her to get lots of sleep and have a rest day...of course she is older than us and she has had it for 11 years. Perhaps you can get some info from www.webmd.com

Mine don't bother me very much, some days they hurt other days I'm fine. I just recently noticed it well about a month ago,I thought I was pregnant they hurt so bad, but I wans't. I have noticed I'm a lot more tired lately and can't seem to get enough sleep. I'm hoping the dr will find out what is going on with all the blood test he ran. I blamed it on lack of love..lol..Jason and I have been apart for over a month...again!!
