It's good stuff, but the facebook campaign was started by an English DJ, not by RATM themselves! Would have rathered that Dylan's 'Must Be Santa' had gotten to number one though... Killing in the Name is hardly seasonal is it!? :P

I was careful to not say they started it, though at this point, they certainty are promoting it. I hear you about it not being seasonal, but it would be cool to see corporate powers that be unable to control their campaign. Power to the people! ;-)

I've had an up and down relationship with them. For a while, they took up the majority of the buzz and I got burnt out. Some music needs to ferment for a while before it's ready.

i tend to never lisetn to anything while it's popular; will usually wait a few years until after it's died off to get into anything. have always been liike that.
