Nice post! I love that Lindsey Buckingham song, although it always makes me think of Chevy Chase more than Santy Claus... I wanted to see if I could add one more song to your list - I wrote one called George Bailey, all about Jimmy Stewart's character in It's A Wonderful Life. I sing and play bass, and we recorded it in that classic Phil Spector sound. You can listen to it on my website below or watch the youtube video.

y'know, i've been looking for that "jingle twist" song for years now, not knowing it was called that. when i worked at Shop Rite in jersey, every christmas this would pop up on the muzak system and i loved it. all this time i thought it was the ventures or something. THANKS.
