I hadn't seen that coming! I liked that it was Luna who needed help for a change and not Severus, and that sounded totally like something someone like Luna's parents would have been interested in researching. I didn't like Luna's father much in canon and I like him even less now, I have to say...

Ooh! That theory could explain so very much about Luna, her background, why she is the way she is... and I'm so glad that Severus found her needs taking precedence over his desire for solitude. Despite outward appearances, it really is his nature to take care of those around him.
