Oh yay! I love this so much -- I've been wanting a story dealing with Snape and Luna's differences for ages, and I just adore your take on it. :-D

Some favourite lines:

Three applications of Glumbumblecide later, she and Severus were drinking together at the Three Broomsticks; shortly after her seventh application of the insecticide to Severus' shoes, they were shagging.

Luna understood that no one but she understood her attraction to Severus; that made her happy because it meant no one was likely to try and take him from her. -- This is so perfect for the way I see this pairing.

"My wife," Severus murmured, in that hoarse way of his that curled Luna's toes and meant "I love you."

Severus had appreciated their efficiency and the fact that neither one of them had remarked upon the apron, which he'd forgotten to remove before their arrival. -- Lol!

If this hadn't been the snuna_exchange, I might have written so much more of Mrs Witherston; I'm contenting myself with the thought that Luna and Severus will take care of her in her declining years.
