Been reading this one off and on for a while; it's essentially an encyclopedia of street names, parks, neighborhoods and major landmarks here, with historical background where available. Didja know that there was a McCarron's Lake here? Or where the cave Pig's Eye sold his whiskey from was? Or anything about Swede Hollow or Connemara Patch? Good research for what I'm planning, with a decent bibliography for more.
