Please don't cry.

I just started reading Twilight (by, you know, Stephenie Meyer) to see what the hype was about. I know, please kill me now. I was already half-dead from humiliation when I picked up the book and placed it in my bag two hours ago. I'm determined to never let anyone I know see me reading the book. It's just a shame that my Physics textbook probably ( Read more... )

=D Depends entirely what your criteria for liking a book is. It's not exactly well-written and after the first dozen descriptions of Edwards's *dazzling* beauty you kind of want to stab Bella with a spork but I liked it because it's pretty much shoujo manga in a novelized form. xD

Whether you end up liking/disliking Twilight I'd warn you away from New Moon. >_> Meyer hit new lows with that one.

Well...if it makes you feel any better after spending -counts- five years saying the LOTR sucks I've begun reading it and I...like it. Serious betrayal on my part.

As for Twilight. Never going there. Never.

Aww, the LOTR series are pretty good. And well, see, this isn't the first time my common sense has gone down the gutter. I've read Nora Roberts too.

...Ramsha. RAMSHA! NORA ROBERTS! WHY!?

Actually DON'T tell me. Ugh. -shivers-

Lord of the Rings is good. Frodo already annoys me as does Pippin or w/e his name is and Sam is very obviously everyone's bitch [especially Frodo's]. I'm probably going to fall in love with Legolas because elves are the shit. Not because Orlando Bloom's non-existent beauty.

When I'm depressed, I revert to shitty or not-so shitty romances. It's all visceral. Totally not even my fault.

Twilight is sadly addicting. However, if you're planning to read all 4 in the series, New Moon will just infuriate you especially since it's a)boring and b)full of Bella whining.

On another note, less Rpattz, more Jacksper!

Yes, yes, less Robert would definitely benefit my eyesight. And as for Rathbone, I think he's one of the better cast choices for the movie. And you know, I don't like much of their cast at all. On another note, do you happen to have a copy of New Moon? My sister didn't buy it because it was too crappy, and I certainly don't want it in my bookshelf, at least until after I've read it.

No, I don't- I managed to grab mine from the library somehow. I think Audrey has a copy of New Moon, perhaps try asking her?

There's an online .pdf version though, if you're interested. ;)

How was your last physics class?
