Into You : Chapter 6

Summary: Kamenashi Kazuya is in love with Ueda Tatsuya from Boice Club. However due to an incident , he was forced to make a deal with another member Akanishi Jin. For Kazuya,if it's the only way to meet and get to know Tatsuya personally he's willing to seal the deal. But will he make it until the end without having a change of heart?

Chapter 6 : For A Friend
"Ne Kazu chan, don't be scared of Tatsuya ok" Jin said as he lead the young one to his home.
"Hhhhmmmm?" was the only response Jin received
"I mean, what he said earlier. Please don't take it against him" the older one said "he's just being frank and realistic. Actually he always likes that."
Kazuya then smile to the other one and reply "Don't worry Jin. I know that Tatsuya has that kind of attitude. I’ve read it on the magazine before"
Jin just nod on this statement and stop in front of his door. "Ok, let's forget about that! I would like to welcome you to your new home! Well for the mean time that is!" then he give a goofy grin at Kazuya.
When they step inside Kazuya gave a surprise gasp and this made Jin looked at him with curiosity
"Jin, I didn't know your house is so clean! I thought it's as sloppy as you"
"Baka! How did you arrive on that conclusion?" sulks Jin as he plop on the couch and signal Kazuya to do the same.
"Well, you just have that aura of being messy on the house!"
"What did you say? Well, look who’s talking? I bet you are too" retorted by the big boy.
"I'm not! I'm an organize person!"
"Oohhh ho... Being defensive I knew it! You're a messy person. You're just trying to deny it!"
So their teasing session starts and went on until it's time for dinner. Kazuya offer to cook while Jin eagerly volunteers himself as the young one's assistant.
"Ne Kazuya... I didn't know you're a good cook" Jin enthusiastically commented as he stuff his face with his meal.
"Well, thank you. But I hope you chew your food carefully coz I don't want be the cause that the famous Akanishi choke to death because he's stupid enough to gobble down the food without chewing it."
So another round of bickering starts until they wash the dishes and before they go to bed (separate room that is)
Before they knew it, 2 month have passed and the routine was always like this, they talk, tease, argue, quarrel and then call it truce then back to normal again.
And as for Jin's promise, every now and then he'll ask Tatsuya to spend time at his house in order for Kazuya to see him.
He also clarify that the young man was not really his partner but a good friend, so that if in case Tatsuya realize that he feel something for Jin’s supposed to be lover, he won't be uncomfortable to let Jin know about it.
"So how do you find Kazu chan?" Jin once asked Ueda as they sit on their dressing room as they pack their things to go home that day.
The rest of the boys already went ahead so Jin thought it’s the perfect opportunity for him to have a real serious talk with Ueda and maybe he can shake some sense to the boy and at the same time help Kazuya with his love problem.
"What do you mean?" Tatsuya curiously asked
"You know, do you find him cute, adorable, kind or what?"
"I think he's a kind person. But why are you asking me this?"
Jin scratches the back of his head as if trying to think of a way how to explain the situation to his friend.
"Ummmm... Well, I'm just curious. Because you’ve known him for quite some time now but I haven’t heard even a single compliment coming from you."
"I see. Ok, I already gave you my answer. How about you? How do you find him?" a direct to the point question so typical of Ueda.
"Me? Why are you asking me? I'm the one asking you." Tatsuya just gave a blank stare and then turn his gaze on the other side of the room.
And just when Jin thought the conversation was already finish the older one throw another surprise question.
"It's been a while since Kame chan stayed with you. Don't you feel something for him?"
The latter was caught off guard with the sudden subject but he still manages to answer it
"Kazu chan? For me he's a precious friend. So I like him. I'm thankful that he helped me with my problem, though I have to corner him before he agreed but if you’re asking me romantically speaking, my answer is no."
With this statement Tatsuya look at Jin but said nothing and this time Jin was the one who said something that caught Ueda by surprise
"Tat chan, I hope you'll give yourself a chance to get to know Kazu chan more. I think he's not difficult to like. I'm not pushing you but all I'm asking is to give him a chance to get close to you. Maybe you'll like him too."
"Are you sure you want me to be close to him?" Tatsuya asked
"Yeah, I know it will really make him happy. And I want him to be happy, because that's the only way I can repay him" Jin seriously answered.
Tatsuya once again stared at his friend and now for a long period of time as assessing the sincerity of his friend’s answer, then he sigh and said “okay, if you want me to. Like I've said earlier, I think he's a nice person. So I guess we can get along just fine."
"Really!" squeal Jin as he grasps his friend's hand out of joy. This will make Kazuya really happy. "Thank you Tat chan!"
“Don’t thank me baka. I’m doing this for you, seems like it also make you happy. But I just hope you won’t blame me in the end” Tatsuya smiled
“Blame you? Why will I do that Tat chan?” Jin innocently asks over.
“Nothing, don’t mind me. It’s just a random question” after this Tatsuya gave Jin a friendly pat at the back and head towards the door.
But when he reached it he once again turns to his friend and said “by the way, do you have Kame chan’s mobile number?”
“Kazu chan’s mobile?” came a surprise reply before it registered to Jin “Oh, Kazu chan’s mobile number. Yes I have it. Do you wanna get it?”
When the other one nod the latter walked towards him and read out Kazuya’s number.
“Ok, thanks Jin. I’ll call him later and maybe I could ask him out for dinner or something”
“Okay. But please don’t tell him that I’ve talk to you about this ok.” Jin looks at his friend for any sign of disagreement
“Don’t worry. I’ll just tell him that I asked you for his number” Smiled Tatsuya as he finally open the door and about to step outside.
“Okay, thank you Tatsuya.”
And when the door finally shut behind his band mate, Jin let out a smile ‘Kazu chan will be so happy. Thanks to me’ And he also start to arrange his things so he can finally go home.
At the same time, Tatsuya’s mind is also wandering. ‘So Jin wants me to get to know his Kame chan more. I guess it’s not a problem then. If that’s what he really wants.’
But when he reached his car and about to open it, he utters these words with no one in particular.
“Ok, I’ll do what you want. I hope you’re sure with what you answered earlier. And don’t blame me if I fall for this person. Coz if that happens and you’ll tell me that you realized you also fall for him, I won’t give him to you without a fight.”
