Summary: Kamenashi Kazuya is in love with Ueda Tatsuya from Boice Club. However due to an incident , he was forced to make a deal with another member Akanishi Jin. For Kazuya,if it's the only way to meet and get to know Tatsuya personally he's willing to seal the deal. But will he make it until the end without having a change of heart?

Chapter 10: Sick
“I’m sorry HIroyuki san, Jin can’t come to work today. Yes. Yes. I understand. Thank you.” With this Kazuya end the call and glance at Jin who’s currently shivering due to high fever.
“Kazu, what did my sadistic manager said?” Jin weekly asked as he tried to shift his position to look directly at his friend.
“He said better take a rest and I should take good care of you” the young boy answered.
“OK…” Jin was silent for a while then he spoke once again “ Ne Kazu”
“Yes Jin?”
“Don’t leave me okay?”
Kazuya look at the sick boy and feel sorry for him so he walk towards the bed and kneel beside it so he’ll be on Jin’s face level.
“I promise I won’t. I’ll make sure that you’ll get well before I leave you alone in the house”
“Pinky promise?” Jin asked as he held out his finger waiting for Kazuya’s confirmation.
“Hai, it’s a pinky promise” Kazuya said as he links his little finger with the other to seal the promise he just gave.

“I’m sorry Koki, I can’t visit this week. Maybe next time”
“But Kame chan you promise!” protest by the person on the other line
“I know I promise you but right now Jin’s not feeling well so I don’t’ wanna leave him all alone”
“But we’re your friends”
“And I know you’ll understand right”
“HMP! I hate you Kame chan”
“I love you too Koki… Thanks for understanding”
“Hmp! You don’t love us… You love Akanishi more!”
“You think so?” as Kazuya laugh at his friend’s childish attitude
“I know so! Tell Akanishi to get well soon. We’ll fry him when we got to see him. He’s been keeping you to himself for so long now”
“Ha-ha, sure! Bye Koki”
“Who’s that?” someone grumpily asked
Kazuya glance at the direction of the voice and found Jin wearing his bunny printed pajamas and walking towards him.
With this, Kazuya sigh. It’s been 3 days now since Jin got sick but it feels like a month. He can’t do anything properly; he can’t go to the convenient store without a rush, he can’t do his chores without Jin tagging along in every corner and most of all he can’t sleep on his own room without being bothered.
In short, a sick Jin is a grumpy and demanding one. He doesn’t want to share “his Kazu chan” with anyone or anything. Not unless he threats the older one that he won’t eat anything if he continues to pester Kazuya not to leave him for even half an hour for him to cook his meal, he’ll die out of starvation.
So now, Kazuya was think why the heck did he just give in to that “pinky promise” which he thinks is another word for “black mail”
“How’s your fever?”
“I’m still sick” Jin pouts as he plops down the couch and turn on the television.
“Ok, I’ll prepare our lunch now so we can eat then you can take your medicine.” Kazuya proceeds to the kitchen with Jin following him leaving the television open.
“Kazu chan” He once again whine as he sit in one of the kitchen chairs
“What Jin?”
“Will you go out with Tat chan this weekend?” came a small voice.
“No, but I need to tell him maybe tonight” the younger one answered
“He knows you’re sick.”
“What if he said he doesn’t want?”
“He can’t do anything about it”
“Ok… You promise?”
“Yeah I promise”

“Kazu chan, let’s sleep now” Jin called as he pats the free space beside him.
“Jin, I’ve been sleeping here for 2 nights in a row. Can’t you sleep on your own?”
“But I’m sick Kazu chan” as Jin gave out his kick puppy eye look
‘Gggrrrhhh!!’ “Ok ok! Move so I can comfortably rest” Kazuya then climb the bed and close his eyes.
“What do you think you’re doing?” He suddenly asked when he felt someone drape their arms around his waist.
“I’m sleeping now, but I want someone to hug so I can sleep soundly” the sick person answered.
“Ooowww… Ok Ok! Sleep now…” Kame sigh ‘If he doesn’t get better in one week’s time, I’ll ask his band mates to confine him at the hospital’ he said to himself which luckily didn’t happen at all.

“And that’s what’s been happening for the past 5 days.” As Kazuya finish his story.
Right now, the entire Boice Club member are sitting on Jin’s couch and listening to what Jin’s been doing for the whole week.
“Don’t you think it’s best if we confine Jin at the hospital for his own safety?” asked Toma as he looks around the house for any manifestation that the boy they’re talking about is already awake.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea?” contradict Tomohisa
“And why is that?” asked Ryo
“Well, I’ve known Bakanishi since we’re toddlers and I didn’t know he’s this clingy and demanding when he’s sick. What do you think will happen if he gets demanding and won’t let Kazuya out of his sight? The press will definitely have a field work just to catch a glimpse of them sharing the hospital bed.”
With this statement almost everyone cringes as they imagine if in case that happen. Surely their manager will gladly chop their heads off and serve it on a huge platter.
“So it’s better if he’ll just stay here” Ryo decided and everyone nod their head in agreement.
“Ne, Tat chan. Again, I’m sorry about this weekend” Kazuya said in a soft voice.
3 heads snaps at Tatsuya’s direction, but the latter pretend not to notice it and answered “its okay Kame chan. For the mean time take care of Jin for us”
“Tatsuya? Are you dating Kame chan?” demand Ryo as he glares at the other person
“What is it to you if I am?” was a cold answer from Tatsuya
“You jerk! Are you trying to steal him away from Jin!” cried by the Osaka man
“Stop stop!” cried Toma as he stood up in between his two band mates. In order to block their sight out of each other.
“What’s this noise all about!” an irate voice interrupts their little argument.
“Jin!” Kazuya call as he approach the said person. “How are you feeling right now?”
“I’m quite okay now, but I still feel dizzy and weak.” The older one complained.
“Oh, okay. Then better take a rest then.”
Kazuya was about to push Jin back to his room when he felt Jin’s arms wrap around his waist and a chin being lean against his shoulder.
“Nah, I don’t want to go back to bed… I want to have a little chat with my friends” he softly said and push Kazuya towards the couch without letting him go.
All 4 persons who are sitting on the living room just gape at couple who are now approaching them. And when they’re near Kazuya mouth the words “I told you so”
The way Jin clings to Kazuya reminds them of a baby koala and his mother. But they didn’t say anything about it.
“So Jin? How’s your condition?” asked Tomohisa as he looks at his friend. ‘He looks well enough to me’ he thought
“I’m quite ok now but I still feel dizzy and kinda weak” the other replied.
“Are you sure you’re still sick? You look well enough to me” observe Tatsuya as Jin sits on the couch dragging the younger boy with him.
“Yes, I’m still sick you know” he responds as he place Kazuya in a more comfortable position… on his lap.
“Don’t you think Kame chan is rather uncomfortable that way?” Asked Ryo
“Nah, I don’t think so. Besides, he’s my warmer when I feel cold” the person in question stubbornly answers.
This statement earns a glare from Ryo and a sigh from Kazuya. While Tomohisa laugh at it and Toma has a huge grin on his face. Jin then looks at Tatsuya for any reaction but he just met a blank look coming from the other.
“Visiting hours is over guys. Let’s go. At least we know that Jin is somehow getting better” announce Tomohisa as he stood up which the other 3 follows.
Kazuya wobbly leads them to the door. He looks like a walking penguin with Jin still clinging into him like earlier.
“Bye Kame chan… See you next week…” wave Toma as he steps out of the house followed by Ryo
“Kame chan please take care of that idiot for us” which the latter nod
“Ka~me chan~! See you next week. Oi Bakanishi get well soon ok” said Tomohisa before walking out as well.
“Kame chan… See you next week… I’ll just make up for our suppose to be date this week” Tatsuya said but when he glance at Jin he saw a flash of something on his face and it seems his arms circles a little tighter around Kazuya’s
And before the person he’s talking to could answer, Jin open his mouth first. “Ok, don’t worry I’ll see to it that I’ll get better soon so you can resume your dating. Good bye!” and with that, he close the door right in his band mates face.
“Jin what was that for, that’s so rude!” cried Kazuya as he untangles himself from Jin.
“But… But..”
“No but! That was wrong! What if you hit Tat chan’s face with the way you slam the door?”
“But I’m sure I didn’t” argue by the old one
“You didn’t but you might have!”
“Ok… I’m sorry” mumble Jin as he slowly walks towards his room
“Where are you going?” says the other
“Bed… You’re mad at me so I’ll just sleep until you anger subsides”
Kazuya sigh once again, maybe for the nth time already ‘Jin’s really a baby when he’s sick. And I should stop giving into his pitiful look’ But in the end he eventually did.
“Ok, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to snap at you back there” said Kazuya as he saw Jin climbing into bed and pulling on his blanket.
“It’s okay… I know I’m at fault. I’ll just sleep now.”
“Don’t you want to have dinner first?”
“No, I can’t eat it anyway. With you being angry at me how can I even swallow the food?”
“I didn’t know you’re such a drama queen Jin... Ok, I’m no longer mad. So what do you wanna eat?”
“Really?” came a muffle voice, then sick one poke his head out and smile “anything Kazu chan makes is delicious for me” Hearing those words, Kazuya can’t help but smile. Jin is really like a child but he’s the sweetest nevertheless.
“Ok. Just rest for a while and I will prepare the food. In a while we’ll about to eat” and with that he stepped out of the room living Jin smiling at himself.
‘If being sick means I won’t share you with anyone else then I’m willing to be sick for a year… Your presence makes me discover certain feeling which I thought doesn’t exist and it called… selfishness.’
The atmosphere inside Jin’s house is already cozy and calm. But unknown to them a certain someone is still standing right in front of their door.
‘What’s that reaction Jin? Are you trying to hint me on something?’ Tatsuya silently asked as he stared at the close door which an inch away from his face.
