Chapter 15: Answers
"Is that what I am to you Kazu?Is that we really are? Friends with benefit?"
Hearing this, Kazuya launch at Jin and fiercely hug him "NO! NO! We're not like that. I don't want us to be like that."
"Then tell me Kazuya what are we?"
"You're important to me Jin"
"Then answer me Kazuya. What are we?" Jin asked once more
"All I know is that you're special so special that I chose to make love to you instead of the person I’m with."
Jin stares at Kazuya furrowing his brows; the other is not directly answering his question but he knows he should be happy that somehow the young one admits that he's more special than Tatsuya without even realizing it.
But his pride and insecurities won't let him drop the issue without Kazuya admitting what he really feels. So he tried another tactic.
“Make love you say? What does making love means to you? Will you do it with a friends or random people?”
Kazuya bit his lips and kept quiet for a while before answering “I won’t do it with a friend or just random people coz it’s not called making love but sex. I won’t do it without feelings.”
“Then why didn’t you do it with Tat chan? You love him right?” Jin asked
“I… I… I don’t know” Kazuya shakes his head vigorously “Just thinking about it… It doesn’t feel right.”
“But it feels right if it’s with me?” Jin question
Kazuya snap his head at Jin direction as he heard what the latter just asked. Then slowly he answered “Ye-yes…”
“So it means you have feelings for me. Coz you said you won’t do it if you don’t have feelings for the person”
Kazuya can’t do anything but stare at Jin. All the things he said earlier slowly registered on his mind ‘I won’t do it without feelings.’ while Jin silently cry ‘Bingo!’ coz once again Kazuya fall right into his trap.
“If you tell me that you don’t feel something for me, then I’ll respect that. Just allow me to love you and show you how much you mean to me.”
“Jin…. Please don’t do this…”
“But if you’ll deny what you really feel, then you’re not lying to me but to yourself.”
With this, Jin stood up and proceeds to his room to get ready for their dinner appointment with Kazuya’s friends. Leaving his lover to dwell on what he just said.
“JIN WAIT!”
The person being called looks back and watch as Kazuya stride towards his direction and upon reaching him, the boy gaze at him intently.
“Do you really mean what you said?”
“Each and every word”
“What do I mean to you Jin?”
“What do I mean to you?”
Kazuya frown “I asked you first! So answer me!”
Jin smiled as he hears this ‘just like when I first met him’.
It really amuses him to pick on the little turtle, seeing him pout like that makes him cuter rather than ugly.
“You know what my answer is. Do you want to hear it once again?” and when the other person nods, Jin repeats himself “I love you Kazuya… So much… So care to tell me now what do I mean to you?”
“Do you want to give US a try?”
“What?”
“I think I said it loud enough, no reason for you not to hear it.” Kazuya argued
“Yes, I heard it. I just want to make sure that my ears are not deceiving me.”
“No they’re not.”
Jin sighed before continuing “So does that mean you love me too?”
“I like you so much… Yeah, I love you too I guess.”
“Don’t give me a half-hearted I love you.” Jin complained
“Ok ok! I love you! Happy now!” Kazuya glared at the older man
“So does it mean we’re officially together?”
The younger one just smile at Jin then nods his head confirming his question then launched himself to hug the other one.
‘Kazu… Do you really mean when you said that you love me?’
‘I’m willing to give it a try…I can feel that he really loves me.’
“Ne, Kazu… If we’re together now … What will happen to you and Tat chan?”
“Ow, I think I forgot about that part…”

“Tat chan, can I talk to you for a moment?” Kazuya approached the person he’s been dating for quite a long time.
“Sure Kame chan, what is it?”
“Can we talk somewhere private?”
Sensing that it’s something important Tatsuya lead Kazuya to the rooftop and sat in one of the benches that the staff placed there for the idols to use when they want to relax.
“I think we need to stop seeing each other~~~” Kazuya started but Tatsuya interrupted him
“Is this because of Jin?”
“Huh? Jin has nothing to do with this.”
“Don’t lie to me Kame chan. I know Jin is somehow involved in your decision. Did he ask you to stop seeing me?”
“NO! I decide it myself!”
Tatsuya can’t believe what he just heard; Kame is like breaking up with him and it’s because of Jin. He knows it. Kame loves him, he knows he does, but why is he choosing Jin over him.
“I don’t believe you! You’re a liar! Please say you’re joking!”
Kazuya can almost hear a pleading Tatsuya; but he already made up his mind and he doesn’t have any intentions of taking it back.
“I’m not lying Tatsuya, just please respect my decision”
And without waiting for Tatsuya’s reply, Kazuya turn around and walks out of the roof top.
‘I can’t accept your decision Kame chan. I’ll make sure Jin will regret stealing you away from me’

“Kame chan for once, can you please be honest with me?” Koki said
Right now, they’re sitting inside Koki’s apartment after the baldy man insists for Kazuya to visit him which Jin said yes.
“Babe, I’ll pick you up after work ok. Just stay with Koki” Jin said before giving his lover a sweet quick kiss then turn to his friend
“Hey Koki, please take good care of my precious bundle here ok… If anything happens to him, I’ll make sure that you’ll end up bald forever!”
“Don’t threaten me you brat!” as Koki attempt to kick Jin which the latter try to dodge but unluckily wasn’t able to.
“I’ll get you for that you baldy!” Jin said in fake angry voice then both of them laugh it off.
“Take care Sweetie…” Kazuya hug Jin for the last time before the latter walks off.
“What do you mean Koki?” the smaller one ask as he tilt his head and look carefully at his friend.
“Don’t play dumb on me Kamenashi Kazuya! You know what I’m talking about”
Hearing this, Kazuya knows that his friend mean business coz Koki only use the full name basis with his friends when he’s really serious about something.
“Ok, what do you want to know?”
“Are you really with Jin?”
“Yes.”
“What about Tatsuya? What’s your relationship with him?”
“We’re just friends?”
“Don’t lie to me, I’m not blind and stupid you know.”
“I’m not saying you are.”
“Kame are you gonna ‘fess up now or do you really wanna do it the hard way?” Then he saw Koki fish-out his phone and start typing something.
“What are you doing?” he questioned.
“Calling Yuichi over so he’ll be the one to grill you alive. So you choose, me or Yuichi?”
Kazuya quickly answered “KOKI!!! Not Yuichi please!”
So Koki put down his phone and look seriously at his young friend “then tell me, who Tatsuya is in your life?”
Taking a deep breath Kazuya explained everything to Koki, from the scandal, his deal with Jin, dating Tatsuya, developing some kinda feeling with Jin, Jin confessing about his feeling and breaking the dating routine with Tatsuya.
But of course he’s smart enough not to mention to Koki that something already happened between him and Jin though they're not officially together coz he know his friend will definitely go ballistic on him.
“YOU’RE ONE SELFISH BRAT KAME CHAN!” Shout Koki, he can’t believe that his best friend did all those things.
“Please Koki, don’t be mad. I thought you understand why I did those things. I came clean and admit what really happened before, right? And I know that I shouldn’t have lied to you guys that Jin and I were dating from the beginning when the truth is we’re not.”
This time its Koki’s turn to sigh “I know that Kame chan, it’s just that I happen to notice Jin’s feelings even before he confess to you. Didn’t you notice his actions towards you, the way he cares for you? And yet you’re playing dumb not to notice and still go out with Tatsuya.”
Kazuya didn’t say anything about this coz he know that Koki has a point, Jin’s been nothing but caring and sweet towards him all these time.
And after a while he spoke “But I chose Jin so no need to worry.”
“Kame chan,I know that even though you and Jin are together he doesn't fully own your heart. So look inside your heart and see who weighs more. If it’s Jin, then be faithful to him and forget about Tatsuya. But if you think you really love Tatsuya, which I highly doubt it’s called love. Then better let Jin go so you won’t hurt him any further. ”
Kazuya shook his head violently “No, I don’t want to lose Jin Koki.”
"But you can't fully let Tatsuya go."
Kame didn't speak when he heard this statement partly because it's true.
"So does that mean I'm right? You're really being selfish, you know that."
"No Koki! It's not selfishness. Please believe me. I don't want to lose Jin coz he very important person to me."
“Important? Is it possible that you can define it as love?”
And for the first time since they open this discussion, Kazuya look at him in the eye and answered “Yeah I think I love him”
“Then better stay by his side and forget Tatsuya completely. Coz as your best friend I’ll tell you that what you feel for Tatsuya is not really love but an intense admiration.”
With this Kazuya just nod his head ‘Maybe Koki’s right. Ok, I’ll promise I’ll love Jin more. Tat chan, I’m sorry…’
