Chapter 16: Happiness
"I'm happy to hear that finally you and Kame chan work it out" Tomohisa congratulated his best friend as they sat in one of the nearby cafe.
"Yes Pi, I'm happy that he accepted my feelings. But sometimes I’m asking myself, if Kazuya really means it when he said that he love me."
“Don’t be stupid! Of course he loves you. Why would he say he loves you if it’s not true? Would you use your brain?”
And this statement earns a death glare with a pout coming from Jin.
“You’re so mean Pi! I thought you’re my best friend!”
“Yes I am that’s why I’m shaking some sense in that slow moving intellect of yours” Pi teased.
After a while Jin suddenly speak “But Pi, I would like to say thank you”
“Thank me? For what?”
“For being my best friend, for being there for me and for understanding me”
“Jin, sometimes I think you’re really a nut case. Of course I’ll always be here for you. That’s what best friends are for right? Besides I know that you’ll do the same for me”
A few minutes of comfortable silence Pi suddenly asks over “Ne Jin so does mean you’re no longer considered as straight?”
Hearing this too blunt question Jin almost chokes while drinking his coffee “PI!!!”
“Hey it’s just a question, duh…”
The latter didn’t speak for a while then slowly he reply
“Honestly I when I fell in love Kazu chan his gender didn’t cross my mind. Or question myself why the heck I fall in love with a guy. All I know is that he’s the most important person in my life. So to answer your question, if loving Kazuya means being gay, I don’t mind being call as one.”

“Jin, where do you want to eat lunch?” his lover asked when the Boice Club’s manager gave them a 2 hours break before their rigid rehearsal.
“Personally I want to eat my precious one’s home made food” Jin sweetly replied receiving chorus shriek from Toma and Tomohisa and a blush from Kazuya.
“Jin, stop that your making me blush” the youngest of them all complained earning another round of screech.
“Oh, my babe is blushing ha? Ok I’ll stop now before he’ll turn as red as tomato” Jin continues his teasing then embrace his little lover.
While at the end of the room Tatsuya pretends to ignore the commotion going on as he flips the pages of the magazine he’s reading.
“Do you want to grab some lunch?” as someone plop besides him
“I’m not hungry. Besides, it’s a miracle that you initiate the invitation…. Ryo”
“Hey don’t bite my head off. I’m just trying to be nice here. Besides, maybe you need someone to talk to coz from the look of things Kame chan and Jin is finally doing really well, without you interfering in their relationship.” The Osakan man sarcastically said.
Tatsuya then turn towards his direction and hissed “If this is your definition of ‘little nice chit chat’ then let me tell you that it sucks.”
So he snaps the magazine shut and about to stand up when he heard the other one speak
“You have to realize, that in life you don’t always get what you wanted…So deal with it like the rest of us… Welcome to the real world…. Princess”
And with this Ryo stood up leaving his band mate fuming with anger, ‘You’re wrong Ryo… I know how it feels…. For there’s one thing in this world that I really wish for but I can’t have.’

“Kame chan, can we talk?” Tatsuya asked as he successfully cornered Kazuya after several attempts coz most of the time Jin won’t leave his side not unless the band’s rehearsing or doing shows.
“Tat chan, there’s nothing to talk about.”
“Yes there is. About us, you just left me without even giving a decent reason why you chose Jin over me.”
“I didn’t leave you hanging. I told you that I want us to stop seeing each other. This has nothing to do with Jin, he didn’t ask me to stop seeing you but I decided it myself. Is it hard to understand?” Kazuya firmly answered
“Yes it is! Because I thought you love me? And yet you chose to be with Jin.”
“Because Jin loves me, and I love him”
“Do you really love him?”
“Yes, I love him. Why do you need to question it?”
“But I love you Kame chan!”
Kazuya stare at Tatsuya as he heard his declaration “You love me?”
“Yes! I love you. Why do you think I’ll spend my time with you if I don’t?”
The younger one keep his silence for a while trying to contemplate of what the other’s just said.
“I’m glad to hear that you feel something for me Tat chan. But I’m with Jin now. I don’t want to betray his trust and hurt him. So please just respect my decision”
But there’s no way Tatsuya will back off. He will clearly say what’s on his mind.
“Sorry Kame chan. But I can’t accept it. I won’t easily give up on you. I’ll win you back. Just wait and see” and after that Tatsuya leave Kazuya alone.

“Kame chan, how are you and Jin?” his best friend asked
“Were doing well, thanks for asking Koki!” Kazuya cheerfully answered as he led him to their living room.
“So I assume you follow my advice and follow what your heart really says”
“Yeah, you can say that.”
“Kame chan?”
“Yes Koki”
“I’m happy for you.”
“Thank you. I’m means a lot to me coming from you”
“Baka! I’m your best friend so your happiness is my happiness also.”
Kazuya then jump on Koki and give him breath knocking hug. He’s really happy that the latter is his best friend. For he know that through thick and thin he’ll be there to guide and protect Kazuya.
“Kaaaazzzzuuu!!!!!!!! What are you doing, hugging Koki like that?!” Jin complain as he step out of their bedroom (yes, Kazuya is sharing Jin’s room now)
“Sweetie don’t be jealous. I’m just thanking Koki here for being such a wonderful friend”
“But your hug looks intimate to me” as Jin pout at the semi bald man while the other stuck his tongue out just to taunt the older man.
“No it’s not!” Kazuya argue as he let go of Koki and walk towards Jin.
“Ok come here and I’ll also give you a hug.”
“Really babe? Yey!!! Serves you right Baldy man! Kazu will hug me too!” Then he gave the other person a smug look.
“I think I need to see a dentist! You’re lovey dovey act is too sweet for me to tolerate that I’m starting to have a tooth ache and cavities.” Koki sarcastically stated
“Shut up Koki! You’re just jealous coz Kazu loves me more!”
“No I’m not you brat!”
“Yes you are!”
“I’m not!”
“OK both of your shut up!” Kazuya yell.

“Jin, don’t be jealous with Koki ok? He’s just really a very, very good and trusted friend” Kazuya said as the two of them lay side by side and about to sleep.
“Yes, I know that. I like him coz he’s taking good care of you same as Yuichi and Junno. They’re all a good friend and I’m thankful that they consider me as one.”
“Hahah! Yeah, Koki may love to mock you but that’s his way of showing that he loves you…”
“Oh, he does? I’m glad to hear that. I though his main goal in life is to make my life miserable by teasing me to death.” Jin complained as he tries to remember the things the bald man did to him all these time.
“Of course he does, silly. He’s the one who shake some sense out of me”
“Then maybe one of these days I’ll treat them out for dinner: For making you realize that I’m really the one for you”
“Hahaha! I bet he’ll be happy hearing that. But be sure to prepare your pocket. Those three can eat food good for twelve people.”
They both laugh as they try to imagine Yuichi, Junno and Koki consuming so many foods and getting really full until they’re ready to burst.
“Ne Jin, do you really love me?” Kazuya all of a sudden asked
“Of course. Why?”
“Nothing, I’m just glad that you love me.”
“So how about you Kazu, do you love me?”
“Yes, I do”
“I’m glad to hear that. Coz there are times I’m afraid that I’ll lost you again. That in the end you’ll choose Tat chan over me”
“Sweetie that will never happen, just trust me ok.” Kazuya smile at Jin before planting a soft kiss on the left side his chest where his heart is located.
“Yeah I trust you, babe.” And with this Jin leans forward to catch his lover’s lips.
This simple lip lock turns into more passionate one. Jin starts to roam his hands until they’re inside his lover’s shirt and about to take them off.
“Oooops…” as Kazuya push his lover away from him and also pulling out his hands from inside his shirt “no pervy activity today”
“Kazu…Just one round and we’ll sleep” Jin huskily said.
“No!” the other firmly answered “You have shows tomorrow and I don’t wanna be limping all day because one round for you is equivalent to ten”
“No! Promise just one… and we’ll stop” Jin insisted once again dropping his seductive tone.
“I said no… You choose, comply with my NO tonight then YES by tomorrow or nothing at all for 1 month?”
“You’re really a little devil Kazuya!!!”
“Yeah, yeah I know I am. SO SLEEP NOW!”
“Kazu!!!!”
