Chapter 28: One Step Forward
The room was filled with ear-splitting silence and the only sound that was heard is when a mobile phone was drop by one Nishikido Ryo.
“RYO, where are you going?” Cried Yamashita as his friend brushed everyone hindering his path as he rushes to the door.
“UEDA!” is the only replied they’ve heard and this made the room erupt with commotion.
“Ryo! Ryo! Get back here!!!!” shout Toma as he tries to follow his band mate, afraid that he’ll do something to Tatsuya but a firm grip on his hand made him stop.
“Kame chan? What are you doing here?”
“Don’t follow Ryo”
“Why? He might do something to Tatsuya”
“Let them settle their problem”
Kazuya’s calmness in spite the crazy situation made them aware of that he knows something and the news is not new to him.
“Kame chan… Don’t tell me? You know about Tatsuya’s feelings for Ryo?” Tomohisa questioned.
“Yes, I know about it.”
“When did he tell you?”
“When we went to the amusement park and afterwards met up with his brother.” Kazuya respond as he let go Toma’s hand.
“You mean the club incident? Why didn’t you say anything?”
“I’m in no position to tell you that coz it will infringe Tat chan’s privacy.”
“But Kame chan…”
“No Pi. Trust is so important to me, please understand.”
And knowing that there’s a meaning behind the statement, Tomohisa chose to shut his mouth.
“Well, I have to go now. I’ll just talk to Tat chan maybe later, bye guys.” He gave them a simple bow and then stepped out of the room.
He’ll just call Tatsuya to see if he still wants to go to dinner or he just wants Kazuya to hang out at his place.
“Kamenashi Kazuya!” Someone called from behind, so he turned around to see who it was.
“Ji~ Akanishi san” he cautiously smile and waited for him.
“Kazuya, can we talk?” Jin breathes heavily when he was able to catch up.
“Regarding?”
“About what happen back there?”
“What about it?”
“Do you mind if we talk somewhere more private?”
“Why? I don’t think there’s anything wrong if we talk here.”
“Kazu, please.”
“Akanishi san, in case you forgot, Takeru is here. I don’t want him to give meaning to this simple chat so I guess here’s the best place to discuss whatever you want to talk about.”
Jin’s about to tell him that he and Ueda’s brother have no relationship but Kazuya’s next words made him stop.
“I’m giving you 5 minutes to say what you wanted to say. And your timer starts now.”

“Tatsuya! Tatsuya! Wait” Ryo holler as he tries his best to run after his band mate who’s currently dashing towards his car.
“If you’re here to mock me, better leave me alone” the older one shout back as he tries to rummage his pocket for his car key.
“If I want to make fun of you, I’ll see to it that everyone’s here.” and this earn a glared coming from Tatsuya.
“What are you doing here?”
“I want to hear some answers.”
“What answers do you need?”
“When did you realize it?”
“Fuck! Where’s my key?” Tatsuya cried as he kicks his tire out of frustration and then look at the person talking to him “What did you say?”
“When did you realize it?”
“Realize what? That I left my key, just now.”
“Don’t play with me Tat chan. You know what I’m talking about”
“I really don’t get what you’ve just said coz right now my main concern is to run away from you.”
“And why is that?”
“I didn’t know you’ve taken over Jin’s endearing quality.”
“I’m not dumb! I just want some answer! Is that hard to give?”
Kicking the car’s body this time, Tatsuya glares at his companion.
“What more do you want to hear? You’ve heard everything and it explains everything.”
“No it doesn’t.”
“That’s no longer my problem.” Tatsuya coldly answered and turn around to return to their room only to be pulled hard by Ryo that made him stumble back and slam his body into his car with the smaller one stood in front of him and hands pinning his arms.
“I’m sorry Tat chan but you can’t go anywhere.”
‘Great! I’m doomed.’

“Kazuya thank you for giving me a chance to talk to you.” Jin nervously smiles at the man sitting right in front of him.
“Akanishi san you didn’t gave me a choice. In case you forgot, you abducted me.”
Flashback
“I’m giving you 5 minutes to say what you wanted to say. And your timer starts now.”
“Kazu I can’t explain it in 5 minutes! I got tons of things I need to say to you.
“Time is running Akanishi san,” as Kazuya stares at his digital wristwatch.
“Will you stop that? You used to call me by my name!” complain Jin.
“AKA-NI-SHI SAN” the young one gives emphasis to the words. “If you don’t go straight to the point, you’ll be wasting your 5 minutes.”
“And to answer your question, the only people whom I call by their first name are either my closest friends or someone very important to me. So better speak up or I’ll start walking.”
“Kazu… Don’t do this to me please”
“1 minute down… 4 minutes to go…” the young man continues to look at the time completely ignoring what the older man is saying.
Panic starts to kick in so he did what he thought was the best way so that Kazuya will not leave without hearing him out.
‘I’m sorry Kazu, but I’ve got to do this’
And without warning, he grab Kazuya’s arms and start dragging him outside the building and when the little one struggles with all his might, Jin scope and throw him at his shoulder like a sack of potato ignoring the curious stares thrown at them by the employees as they see a pair of legs kicking and angry curses being thrown at their bankable idol.
Upon reaching his van, Jin shoved his ex-lover inside and fastens the seatbelt then immediately run to the other side and drives away, before the little one can jump out of his vehicle.
End Flashback
“Mou, Kazu… Don’t make it sound like I kidnap you.” Jin complains.
“Well, you did. We’re in the middle of God-know-where with security outside that damn door to ensure I won’t go anywhere, what do you call that?”
Jin heaves a heavy sigh “But I just want to talk to you without being interfered by anyone.”
“Then don’t waste your efforts, better get to the point Akanishi san, I don’t have a whole day for this.”
“I just want to apologize for what I did”
“No need for that.”
“And just want to ask your forgiveness”
“Don’t worry I already forgiven you.”
“Then will it be alright if we continue our ~ ~ ~”
“Sorry that’s not possible.” Kazuya glared at him

“What are you doing midget!” Tatsuya cried as he struggles to get free from the tight hold.
“You’re insults won’t affect me Princess. And though you’re taller than me, I can see that you’re having a difficult time freeing yourself.”
“Shut up! Just let go and pretend we didn’t have this ridiculous talk.”
“I’m sorry but that will never gonna happen.”
Instead of answering Tatsuya tries to struggle more only to discover that in spite the fact Ryo looks like a weakling, he sure is one hell of a tough guy.
“Why only now?”
“What are you talking about?” Tatsuya got confuse with the sudden change in Ryo’s voice
“Why didn’t you realize it before?”
“Realize what?”
“God, you’re so clueless, it’s annoying ~ ~ ~”
And instead of continuing what he has to say, Ryo just lean forward and capture Tatsuya’s lips and that made the other turn a thousand shades of red.
After a while, Ryo step back and look at the blushing boy “How come you didn’t notice? I thought you’re the most observant among us.”
“Observe what?” Ueda mumbles
“How can you say that? I am doing my best to show you.”
“Show what, your glares and cruel comments?”
“You’re making me jealous that’s why.”
“Jealous?”
“You don’t know?” Now it’s Ryo’s turn to glare at the boy
“And how am I supposed to know that?”
“I’m your very best friend! You should know my body language!”
“Yeah I know your body language very well and it screams GIRLS!”
“No it’s not! It shouts I LOVE TAT CHAN!”
Hearing this, made Tatsuya blush even more.
“N-No it’s not…” he stutters “Let me refresh your memory, it say’s; Classmate. Sexy. Flirting. Make out Session and Locker Room. Does it ring a bell?”
“Huh?”
“Don’t ‘HUH’ me you jerk!”
“But I really can’t remember!”
“Then forget it. Now, let me go so I can grab my keys and go home.”
“I said you can’t go anywhere, not after you declared to the whole wide world that you love me.”
“See! I knew it! You just want to rub it on my face! Let go! Or I’ll surely punch your pretty face goodbye!”
But instead of loosing his grip, Ryo suddenly pulled him into a tight hug.
“Tat chan, pummel out later if you want to. For now, just hear me out. You said that your heart belongs to me. But I want you to know that you owned mine long before I owned yours.”
With that, Ryo pulled away and drop a quick kiss on his lips before walking away leaving Tatsuya blushing madly and heart drumming wildly.
