MOVING FORWARD
"Ne, hurry up Aki chan! We're going to be late" Whine Yuya as he starts to head towards the door
"Alright all right I'm ready! Geez you don't have to get mad at me. Anyway why are you in such a hurry?" I pout as I slipped on my shoes
"Because I'm late! It's easy for you to ask coz you're the boss" huffed by the younger one as he checks his things.
"Yeah that's right, I'm the boss. I'm your boss, so no need to rush and is that the proper way to talk to your boss?" I complained
"Hey! We're not yet at the office so I can say what I want to say" he retorted as he drags me downstairs.
Yes Yuya finally landed a job in our company. No, actually I insist for him to work there so I can keep an eye on him.
Knowing his personality I'll bet that the employer who will hire him needs a huge stock of headache tablets. Not because he's a bad employee but because sometimes he still acts like a kid but a brilliant kid that is.
It's been 3 years since I last saw Yuuki, time really flies so fast but his memories are still intact in one private space in my heart that no one can ever take away.
I'm not sure if anyone will understand this feeling. But I'm lucky I've found that person who truly understands how I truly feel about him.
And now, I have decided that I'm finally ready to move on and to build a future with someone whom I wanted to be with for the rest of my life.
So I take a hold of the black velvet box inside my pocket as I take the driver's seat and waited for my energetic passenger to get in and fasten his seatbelt.
"Ne Yuya chan" I called out when he's already settled and when he glanced at me I held out the little box in front of him.
"Will you keep me company forever?" trying to keep a straight face though I wanted to laugh out loud because shock is written all over his face but at the same time he’s furiously blushing.
"So what's you're answer? Are you going to gape at me like a fish out of the water?" I grinned
"Are you serious?" he asked
"Will I ask you if I'm not sure?" I answered back
"But is this because of Yuuki?" he once again replied
"I'm not doing this because of Yuuki. But let’s say he's the reason why we've been inseparable for these past 3 years" I honestly answer
He's quiet for quite some time and it made me think that maybe I should assure him "Look Yuya chan, I love you. Not because you're Yuuki's brother but because you're Yuya. And I didn't propose to you just because your brother asked me to. That would not be fair on your side. I'm saying these things because I've come to realized that he's right. You're the one I'm looking for and the one I wanted to be with for the rest of my life"
And before he can reply I lean forward and captured his lips with my own.
"I love you Ishida Yuya, will you marry me" I seriously asked this time
"I do... Kurosawa Akihiko" he answered with tears on the brink of falling in his eyes "I love you too... If you only knew" then he embraced me.
Then as if he realized something he let go of me and said "What?! We're getting married and you haven't even been my boyfriend?"
I laughed at this and pulled him once again to give him a warm hug and a loving kiss.
"Yuuki thank you. You know it all along..." I whispered
I realized that this is what he really wants from the very beginning. It's just that I took a detour to get where I am now. And he is that detour, for me to realize and treasure the person I'm with now.
Yuuki I hope you’re happy wherever you are and in the end I was able to keep that promise I made to you long time ago.

A/N: Sorry for the long story. This is supposed to be a one shot but because my PC hang-up on me when I try to put it on a single page I ended up chopping it to 10.
For those who get quite dizzy with the flow of the story, part 1-9 are all in the past (its like a diary entry) and 10 was the only one in present time.
