“Aki? Aki? Where are you?” Yuuki called as he enters his friend’s room but no one’s there. So he decided to step out but something caught his interest.
So he walks toward the dresser and peer at a small picture frame in Aki’s study table. The picture looks old seems like taken when Akihiko was still in high school or something.
On the picture he’s standing side by side with someone. And when Yuuki take a closer look it seems that the person beside Aki looks familiar but he can’t remember where he saw him.
He spun around when he heard the door burst open and Akihiko stepping inside.
“Yuuki chan what are you doing here?” He strode by his side and then his eyes caught the picture which Yuuki was staring at few moments ago.
“Oh, I was looking for you coz I need to ask you something but you’re not here. I’m about to go but this picture caught my attention. I’m sorry… I shouldn't have intrude in your room”
The younger one is about to go out when Akihiko hold onto his wrist to make him stay. And as when Yuuki looks at him Akihiko stare back at the picture.
“Are you curious who this person beside me is?” He asked and when Yuuki nod he said
“His name is Shizuku”
“Is he your friend?” another question was thrown to him
“No. Like you and Hayato, Shizuku’s my lover.” He frankly answered.
“You mean, you also have a lover? Where is he?”
“Yes. And it’s not have, it’s had. We’re no longer together.”
“Why?”
“Because I’m not been a good partner to him… So he left…”
“Really? But do you still love Shizuku kun?” Yuuki curiously asked
Akihiko think for a while before answering “I think he’ll remain special to me. But someone replaced him in my heart and I love that person more”
Yuuki looked straight in his eyes. “You love someone more that you love Shizuku kun? Who’s that person?”
Akihiko look intently at him and simply replied “Yuuki chan” then bend down to kiss the person he’s referring to.
The kiss they’ve shared is not just mere meeting of the lips. There’s no uncertainty or awkwardness that if any person who can see it will think that they’ve been doing it for such a long time now coz the way they explore each others cavern.
Then as if Yuuki’s been draw back to his senses, he pushed Akihiko away , immediately rushed out and locked himself inside his room.

After one week of avoiding Akihiko, Yuuki was able to gain enough courage to finally face him and discussed what had happened before.
“Akihiko” he called out as he knocks at his friend’s room.
“Yuuki!” He exclaimed as he rush to open his bedroom door and when he saw him standing there he can’t help but hug him.
“I’m so glad you’re no longer avoiding me” He heave a huge sigh as he clings to his best friend.
“Ummmm… No, I’m no longer avoiding you”
“Are you mad with what I’ve done?”
“No. It’s just that I got so confuse with what happened. Everything happens so fast” Yuuki respond
“I’m sorry. I won’t do it again”
“It’s not that. It’s just that, your kiss stirs up something in my memory. It’s like we’ve done it before. But of course that’s not possible right. Maybe at the back of my mind Hayato’s kisses still lingers there and I got it mixed up with you when you kissed me. I’m sorry”
“Don’t be.” Akihiko said “I didn’t plan on doing it, it just happened. I’m sorry Yuuki chan”
“Don’t worry ok. I don’t mind it at all.” The latter answered.
“So does that mean, somehow you also return my feelings?” the older one asked as he try to contain is nervousness as to what Yuuki will answer.
“Maybe, I’m not yet sure if this feelings I have for you is really for you or for Hayato. But I can’t live in the past forever right? I have to move on, so will it be alright if I can’t fully return your feelings. But I’ll try to love you as much as I can. More that I love Hayato.”
“I don’t care if you don’t love me or if you still love Hayato up until now. All I wanted to do is to show you and make you feel that you’re the most important person in my life and nothing could change that.”
Yuuki looked at him and say “Are you doing this because you want to make up for your past? Coz if you are, I don’t think I like that.”
“NO! No, it’s not that! I want you to be with me because I love you. I really do Yuuki and I need you in my life. This has nothing to do with Shizuku or Hayato. I just want to love you and only you.”
“I have one last question though” Yuuki said as he looked seriously at the man before him.
“Yes?”
“Are you sure that you really love me because I’m Yuuki? Or is it because that I kinda look like Shizuku kun?”
Akihiko gape at him when he heard those words “What?”
“I’m not blind Aki, I noticed that somehow me and Shizuku kun are kinda look the same. That why I want to hear straight from you.”
This question was simply answered by “I love you because you’re Yuuki.”
Then he pulled the young man into a fierce hug as if he’s afraid of losing him the moment he loosen his hold onto him.
