Between Reality and Lies : Chapter 5
Jin couldn't believe is luck (or can he call it bad luck?), coz now he's sitting across the person who turning his mind in a total mayhem... Kamenashi... Kazuya... or Kamenashi Kazuya... whatever his name is!
How can he put it, he doesn't like Kamenashi but he likes Kazuya. But it turned out that Kamenashi and Kazuya is the same person.
' Arrrggg! So confusing, so confusing!' Jin wanted to scream when he notice that the said person was staring at him. So he tried his best to act nonchalant.
"Oh, sorry guys I didn't properly introduce you to my friend" Yuichi injected trying to break the uncomfortable silence.
"Jin, Junno... This is my childhood friend Koki. Tanaka Koki. Koki... These are my friends... Akanishi Jin and Taguchi Junnosuke" Koki acknowledge them with a nod and a firm hand shake while the other two said nice to meet you.
"Ok, so now it’s my turn to introduce my group of friends, ne." Koki start “Kazuya, Tatsuya.... As you already know this is my friend since I was a cute baby Nakamaru Yuichi." This earns a smack in the head from that said person.
“Yuichi... These are my friends, Ueda Tatsuya and Kamenashi Kazuya but I think you already know their names."
Then Koki turn to Jin and Junno and introduce the two once more as he say "for formality purposes" Both parties exchange a meek hello and nice to meet you.
"I won't talk to him, I won't talk to him" Jin chants silently as he tries to concentrate on his food.... "Akanishi san? Would you like some pasta?"
He looked up to see who’s talking to him only to find out that it’s the person sitting right in front of him. "Hai... Thank you" he replies while his mind’s screaming "BAKA!"
”JIIIINNNNNN!!!!!!”
Suddenly, Jin snaps out of his reverie and found Maki sitting in front of him with a concern look on her face. They are sitting inside a café near his office.
“Are you alright? You’ve been like that since two weeks ago” she observed “Yes, I’m fine… I’m absolutely fine” he answered but his conscience cried “LIAR!”
If truth would be told, he’s not fine at all. He always caught himself thinking of that night when they had dinner with Yuichi’s friend.
He tried to avoid talking to everyone most especially the person he hate…like…, SHIT! He doesn’t even know what to call it anymore! Instead Kazuya was the one who initiated the conversation…
“OK JIN! SO YOU’RE PLANNING TO SPACE OUT THE WHOLE TIME!”
‘WHAT THE HECK’ he forgot again that Maki was with him, ‘what’s wrong with me’ he scolds himself.
“Hey, don’t get mad… I’m listening” attempting to pacify his angry friend. “Ok! If you’re REALLY listening, what did I just said?” Maki demand
“It’s about…. Uuummm… about….” He stammers
“It’s about?”
“About…” his voice trailing off
“It’s because you’re not listening that’s why you don’t know” she accused
“Ok ok! I’m spacing off… I’m sorry Maki-chan so please tell me again what you’ve said earlier” Jin apologized…
“Hmp! Ok, I’ll repeat it but better listen carefully AKANISHI!” She put emphasis on every word. When Jin nods his head she repeat once again what she’s been telling him earlier.
“I’m asking about your date with Rosa, how was it?”
“Date? Ah, it went ok.” He answered. “Will you go out again?” She added.
Jin shrugged before replying “Hhhhmmm… She said she want us to meet again this Saturday”
Maki beam “that’s great! I like her… You two look good together” Jin just nods his head but once again his mind starts to wander…

“So Kazu-chan what’s you’re plan this weekend?” asked Tatsuya as they gather their thing after the rehearsal.
“Mou, I don’t know Tat-chan, do you have something in mind?” inquire the younger one
“Let’s have dinner together with Koki!” the other suggested and Kazuya agreed.
After they inform their plans with Koki, their manager said “let’s meet up with my friend again, is that ok with you? I happen to enjoy their company last time”
The two agreed but not before Kazuya voice out his observation “but Koki, one of Yuichi-san’s friend doesn’t seem to want our company.”
“Who are you referring to Kame-chan?” inquired Koki which the latter answered “the one sitting in front of me”
“Ah, if I’m not mistaken his name is Akanishi san, right?” Koki confirm… “I think so” the Kazuya answered.
“Then just ignore him” said Tatsuya and Kazuya said alright.
“Ok, so it’s settled then” their manager finalize, and then he start dialing his friend’s number to inform them that they’ll meet once again.
“Ok, guys my friend agreed. Saturday, let’s have dinner with them.”

Jin drums his fingers as he listens to Rosa about their latest pictorials and promotions. He smile once in a while just to indicate that he’s listening.
But his mind is else where, more specifically at the restaurant where his friends are currently having a get together dinner.
Then as subtle as he can, he glance at his watch ’45 minutes’.
Then he glanced at his date, who’s chatting animatedly about her next month’s project as a cover girl for a certain magazine.
‘It’s now or never’ Jin pondered, so he cleared his throat and with a huge smile on his face he uttered “Rosa-san...”

“Hello! Sorry we’re a bit late” Koki apologize as they take their seats. “These guys have to prepare some of their songs for the upcoming recording”
“Oh, don’t mind it! We just got here as well, maybe just 5 minutes ahead of you” Yuichi said.
“That’s good to hear! We don’t want to cause any inconvenience on your part” said Kame as Ueda bow his head as an apology
Junno laugh and said “I really like them, they’re so humble even they’re already a big star” and this comment cause TOUCH duo to blush uncontrollably and said thanks for the kind comment.
“Oh, by the way I just notice that your anti-social friend is not here” Koki noticed
“You mean Jin” corrected Yuichi as he smack once again his friend “yes, Jin it is” answered by Koki as he rub his abused temple where his friend hit him.
“Jin’s on a date right now, so he can’t join us” Junno answered for Yuichi. “So Jin already has a girlfriend” asked Ueda. “No, he doesn’t have one, yet…” respond by Jin’s friends.
Kame sat silently as he listens to the ongoing conversation around him. Unaware that someone is also observing him.
“Because everyone’s here already lets order, I’m starving” declared Koki and it was second by a loud “Yes!”
“Ok, what do you want to order Kamenashi san” asked Junno.
“If you don’t mind, please call me Kazuya or Kame, it’s more casual” Kazuya requested which Junno said alright
“So Kame-chan, what do you want to order” Junno asked again
“Hmmm… Maybe I’ll have…” the young guy starts to say when a voice spoke behind him
“Pasta if you don’t mind.” Each one on the table looked up to see who it is
“JIN???!!!!!!”
“AKANISHI -SAN???!!!!”
