CHAPTER 12
“Tat-chan…” Sigh Kazuya as he stared out of his bedroom window. ‘Why can’t he just bring me along with him?’
FLASH BACK
Kazuya was relaxing on the couch enjoying the afternoon’s sobriety. Jin left after grabbing a quick breakfast and promise to call him.
Tatsuya approach the young boy and settled on the sit beside him and cleared his throat that made the resting boy look at him.
“What is it Tat-chan?” Kazuya asked searching for a hint on what’s on his brother’s mind.
“Ano… Kazu-chan. I won’t be able to spend the vacation with you.” The older brother announced
“Why? Where are you going?” Kazuya insist
“I have a commitment on Okinawa”
“Okinawa? But Koki said we’re on vacation, so no work!”
Tatsuya sighed and explain the situation to Kame, who’s pouting at him while listening with what he have to say.
END FLASHBACK
“Why can’t I come with you Tat-chan! This is so boring” complained Kame to himself. This is the first time that Tatsuya will be separated from his brother for a long time and Kame’s not used to it.
Unexpectedly he heard a buzz, so he pulled himself up and walk towards the door.
‘Who could be visiting me early this morning?’ he wonder and yank the door open only to find his friend standing at the doorway
“JIN! What are you doing here? And what’s with the luggage?”
And the said man just smiles “well I’ll be your roommate and guardian for the next 2 months”
“WHAT!” the boy exclaimed
“Hahahaha! Nice, that’s also my reaction when Tatsuya told me about it” he sheepishly grinned
When Kazuya was about to reply, his phone rings. So he strode toward it and answered it while Jin invited himself in and settle his things on the doorway.
“Hello?”
“Hello Kazu-chan. Is Jin already there?”
“Tat chan? Why didn’t you just call me in my mobile phone? Yes he’s here. And he said you asked him to look after me”
“Yes I did. Is there a problem with that?”
“But I’m already an adult! I can take good care of myself”
“I know. But it will pacify me if I know someone’s there to look after you”
“But Tat chan!”
“No Buts! Can I speak to Jin please?”
Kazuya reluctantly hand the phone to Jin and stand beside him to listen with what his over protective brother have to say.
“Hello?”
“Hello Jin, Tatsuya here”
“Tat-chan… How’s your trip?”
“I just arrived here. So far the trip going here is ok”
“I see”
“Well Jin, I would just like to remind you to please take good care of my brother”
“Yes I will”
“Good. That’s all. See you after 2 months”
“See you… Bye!”
After the older boy put down the receiver, Kamenashi looked at him and asked “so what did my dear brother told you?”
Jin sighed and replied “he just reminded me to take good care of you”
“Take good care of me! What does he think I am? A toddler?!” a fuming Kame asked. So Jin explained to him that Tatsuya is just after his safety.
“But look at the bright side Kazu… At least it’s me he asked to accompany you. What if he hired someone to look after you? It’s like babysitting a 22 year old man” teased Jin. This earns a hit on the head and a furious Kame.
After Kame tour Jin to his house he asked the older man to put his things on Kazuya’s room. Because there’s only one bedroom, they decided to share it coz Jin insist on it saying “we’re best of friends, so what’s the big deal?” which Kazuya hesitantly said okay.

“So how does it feel to live with a famous person?” teased Junno as the three guys sat on a crowded fast-food having their lunch.
“Well, being it’s Kazu you don’t feel any difference… Just like always… We have arguments, we call it truce then everything’s okay again...” Jin laughs at his narration.
“Hhhhmmm... The way you say it, it’s like you’re a newly wed couple” smirk Yuichi and this comment made Jin to choke his food.
“What the! Where did that comment came from?” he demand, and his friend points to himself smiling.
“Don’t you dare say that in front of Kazu or else I’ll be dead! And so you’ll be!”
At that exact moment the person they’re talking about entered and Jin automatically stand and wave at him to indicate their place.
“Hello Yuichi, hello Junno...” greeted Kamenashi as he sat down besides Jin. Today he’s wearing an oversized T-shirt, a loose pants and a dorky glasses with his ever famous cap to hide his face even just a little.
“What’s with the outfit? You look like an elementary student!” observe Jin. And this made the young boy glared at him.
“Because I want to walk around the block and this way nobody will pay attention to me” he pointed out.
“Don’t mind him Kame chan… You look cute in your get up” assured Junno while giving Jin a wink.
“What do you want to order Kazu?” asked Jin as to make up for his earlier comment. And luckily it worked so they excuse themselves and went to the counter.
“Know what Jun…I’m glad they’re getting along really well these past few weeks” Nakamaru watched the two people waiting for their turn. Junno just confirm it with a smile.
“Eh?! Yu kun? Jun kun?”
Junno and Yuichi looked up to see who called their name and saw Maki standing beside their table.
“Hey Maki chan long time no see!” greet Yuichi “What’s keeping you busy?”
“Oh, I have several commitments to attend. I’ve been outside the country for several months that’s why.” The girl explained.
“By the way, who’s with you?” she curiously asked to which Junno answered “Oh, we’re with Jin and Kazuya”
“Kazuya? Is he your new co-worker?” she interrogates.
“We’ll just introduce you when they return” replied Yuichi. “Have a sit first”.
So Maki took her sit and waited for her best friend and his friend to return to their table. And when they did, she gave Jin a hug and greets Kazuya “Nice to meet you.”
“Where have you been Maki chan? Long time, no see” was the first thing Jin asked his friend.
“I had some commitment to attend to that’s why… Anyway, what is it to you? You don’t miss me anyway…” she pouts at Jin
Kazuya sat silently as he listens to their conversation, wondering what a talkative girl she is. Junno noticed the boy staring at Maki and whispered to him “Maki chan is harmless. She is just Jin’s best friend…” then he winked at Kazuya
The latter just nod and look again intently at Maki when something hits him ‘Maki chan is harmless. She is just Jin’s best friend’ and this made him glance at Junno who’s now talking to Yuichi… ‘What does he mean by that?’ he question.
Somehow, his attention was caught when he heard Maki say Rosa’s name.
“Ne Jin? Is it true that Rosa went to your house?” she straightforwardly asked. This made Jin stiffed a bit and cast a glance to Kazuya whose busy digging his fries then looked at his two friends. “Yes she did” he honestly answered
“And is it true that you tell her to stop bugging you?” she continued to which Jin also respond yes
“I see, because your heart already belongs to someone.” She stated. This remark caused Yuichi, Junno and Kazuya to stare at Jin, waiting for his answer.
But before he could open his mouth another question was thrown into him. “So tell me Jinny, Who’s Ishida Yuuki?”
‘GREAT!’ was all Jin can think of.
