CHAPTER 14
To complete Jin’s day, a thunderstruck Kazuya was revealed standing on the other side of the door.
“KAZUYA! How long you’ve been there?” Jin shakily asked. He doesn’t want to think that the boy heard every thing he said.
“Since the beginning” Yuichi answered for the silent figure standing at the door way and then he pulls the young man inside the room and shut the door.
Hearing this made Jin’s temper flare “IS THIS SOME KIND OF A JOKE? COZ IF IT IS, I FIND IT HIGHLY AMUSING!”
As he’s about to walked to where his friend stands to give him a good blow Junno stopped him and said “He’s here now… We told you that…”
“What? What are you talking about?” irate Jin demand
“Didn’t I just tell you earlier? I told you he’s here. I mean to say literally and not figuratively” Yuichi defends himself
‘He’s here now; all you have to do is speak up, if you like him then tell him. We can’t do that for you. Nobody could, only you.’ The older man’s words flashed back into Jin’s confuse mind.
“Yuichi unlock the door and leave it ajar when I asked you to sit, so that Kame chan can hear what we’re talking about because the three of us wanted to know the truth, coming from you.” Junno explained.
“So does that mean all of you think of me as a pretentious liar now?” Jin cried out, this made both Yuichi and Junno shake their head. Sometimes an angry Jin means an irrational Jin.
“That’s not it Jin…” Yuichi patiently look at his friend “Okay. Sorry if we didn’t actually inform you that Kame chan will be eavesdropping in our conversation. But Junno and I thought that if he’s here you won’t tell us the truth.”
“Well, I think that’s almost the same right. You don’t trust me to tell you the truth. Is that how you see me also, huh? Kamenashi?” he sent a dangerous glare at the direction of the younger man.
“Jin stop that. You’re not making any sense” Nakamaru take a hold of Jin’s arms and try to shake some logic out of him. But the former is too infuriated to listen.
“I’m asking you Kamenashi! So speak up and don’t just stand there!”
Kazuya removed his eyes from the floor that he’s been staring at the whole time since he stepped inside the room and face the man before him who’s right now sputters crazy accusations towards him.
“Actually I myself wanted to tell you something but I guess let’s forget about it. If you think putting words into my mouth will make you feel any better then have it your way” he replied without answering Jin’s question.
But seeing Jin’s current state, Kazuya doubt if the words he just said will register to that person. So he just bowed his head to Jin’s friends and made his way towards the door and silently closed it behind him.
“Great move Akanishi.” Junno shakes his head as he sat down once again on his desk. And upon seeing this Yuichi did the same.
“What now Jin?” Yuichi then asked. “Are you just gonna stand there and let Kame chan leave?”
When there was no response heard, he exasperatedly blurted out “You know what? We believe you now… YOU REALLY ARE A GUTLESS GUY, LETTING HIM SLIP AWAY JUST LIKE THAT FOR THE SECOND TIME.”
‘GUTLESS GUY… SLIP AWAY… FOR THE SECOND TIME…’ These words shot right through Jin’s irrational condition and the next thing he knew, he was striding towards the door, yank it open and start running through the hallway.

“Stupid Jin!” muttered Kazuya as he walks toward the exit, a small sob starts to escape his lips and tears threaten to well up. ‘What does he know anyway? Nothing…’ So he started to walk faster.
It seems to be an eternity when he finally reached the lobby and when he’s about to push the door open to stepped out he was stopped by a strong hold in his arms. He turned around to see who the person is, but he was pulled and enclosed in a tight embrace.
“I’m sorry…” are the first words that lingers in his ears and he knows exactly who this is “Jin” he whispered.
“Don’t leave me again, please Kazuya…” the older man mumbled as he holds the younger one more closer to him, afraid that if he let go even for a single second the man inside his arms will disappear once more.
But the younger man he’s holding just stood still and it made Jin cling to him even more. ‘Please say something Kazu’ he prayed
Then he heard a repressed sob coming from Kazuya, so Jin was about to pull back and look at him when “but what about Rosa san, she loves you so much” Kazuya nervously asked
“I don’t love her; you’ve heard that already right?” Jin answered
“But you kissed her” Kame insist to which Jin respond “nope, she kissed me. But I didn’t say I kissed her back”
Silence hover between the two, as Kazuya tries to assess the things Jin told him. After a while he pushed himself a little away from Jin and look at him in the eyes trying to see the sincerity of words he said earlier.
Traces of tears still glistering in his eyes, Jin lift his fingers to wipe them away then kiss Kame’s forehead.
Kazuya nod to let him know that he believes what Jin told him and smile starts to appear on his lips but hold it once again... “How about Ishida san, you love him right?”
“Baka! You are Ishida Yuuki…” Jin laughed as he gives Kazuya an affectionate thump on the head which made him laugh as well. “Ah, yeah I forgot.”
Then suddenly something register to Jin’s mind “But Kazu, you said before that you love someone up until now, right?”
His voice started to sound distant and gloomy when he saw the boy nod his head. So Jin tried to release his hold only find out that he’s stuck because now Kazuya was holding him back.
“Before, what I felt is what you called LIKE. But now, I can say that I’m truly and seriously IN LOVE with this person” Kazuya look intently at him as he said these words and this brings terrible pain in Jin’s heart.
So once again, Jin tries to untangle himself from Kazuya but it seems that the younger one has no intention of doing the same. What makes him stop fidgeting and hitch his ability to speak was when he heard these words:
“I let you slip away once. I promised myself not to make that very same mistake again…Janji san…” Kazuya voiced out.
‘Kazuya…’ Jin felt that he’s about to burst with joy ‘he feels the same way for me!’ so he’s about to seal this with a kiss when Kamenashi’s last words finally registered to his clouded mind.
“Kazuya! Who the hell is Janji san!” he exclaimed.
