Whoever messed with the punch at the dance? Good going, idiot. Maybe you thought you were making things "fun", but all you managed to do was ruin an evening that could have passed without incident otherwise.

This town's bad enough. Why would you do something like that? Gah. [ U MAD, TOUMA?

Seriously, he didn't even want to be there, but ( Read more... )

Because getting people who don't know any better drunk is fun, right? There's something wrong with that line of thinking.

Yeah probably.

But it's the fun type of wrong.

There's nothing fun about making a kid who didn't know any better have to go home sick.

Yeah, but chances are? They had fun while they were doing it.

And learned, you know. To be more careful about something that obviously tastes off.

It was probably her first time having punch in the first place, knowing her, so she couldn't have known what it was supposed to taste like. [ Or knowing her as well as he does at the moment. ]

That's a pretty lousy excuse and you know it.

Even watered down, alcohol is pretty strong. It takes some really unsensitive taste buds to not realize that's what you're drinking.

[Not that she has much room to talk on this since she wasn't even at the party.]

Yeah, and that's exactly why there's someone there to go "no, it's fine, have some more" and things like that. Because otherwise no one would fall for it and it's a waste of time. [ Can you hear the sarcasm? ]

[Yeah she can. Zero fucks are given.]

Still just sounds like part of growing up to me.

I'm not worried about growing up here. I'm good with living another day until the time when we can all get out of here.

Oh so just give in to practicality and not live at all while you're here until you get out. If you get out.

Not my cup of tea, but whatever you want kid.

[ Sigh. ] If you want to treat it like it's some kind of vacation, knock yourself out.

Good, cause that's what I plan to do.

So are you condescending to everyone you meet or is that a special privilege reserved just for me?

[ Because she hasn't yet identified herself he can't just say one way or the other. What if she would know that something's off if he was.

However. ] Do you expect everyone to agree with a bad idea when they're in a bad mood already, or is that just for me, too?

Considering you made the bad idea of talking down to the entire town while in a bad mood, I'd kinda think you'd be up for bad ideas.

Don't talk about rationality when you're not being rational.

I had a point to make. What was I going to do, go door-to-door?
