HOUSE+TWW=OTP
I think it's fairly well established that mrsmfitzgerald and i are crazy. But sometimes, good things come out of this craziness. For one thing... we have realised that House and The West Wing are our show OTP. And here is why.
1. Because Lisa Edelstein was in both.
2. They both used the song Hallelujah.
3. Both have episodes directed by Laura Innes.
4. House used In The Deep by Bird York. Bird York was in The West Wing.
...5. AND HOUSE. Bird York was IN House.
6. Both have substance abuse storylines.
7. Both have a central Jewish character.
8. SO.MUCH.SNARK.
9. Both used Yo-Yo Ma.
10. Both had a main character get shot. In AMAZING episodes.
11. Aimee Mann in The West Wing, Michael Penn in House.
12. Both used I Don't Like Mondays.
13. Bartlet and Cuddy both had Trip Nines when playing Poker.
14. Allison Smith was Mallory in The West Wing, and Kayla in House.
15. Both have women showing inappropriate cleavage for their role, but we love them for it.
16. They both used Desire by Ryan Adams.
17. Because we'll never know what they wrote.
18. Because they *get* them.
19. "It's dark yet it's funny. It's very intelligently written, sort of like a medical West Wing." - Lisa Edelstein. AND SHE WOULD KNOW.
20. Both have done documentary episodes. AND WERE INCREDIBLE.
