Viva La Wedding-- is that what it's called? Bam's Unholy Union. I watched the first episode. Bam's really losing his looks, I think. This is going to make me sound as crazy as I am, but watching him when he was younger, I thought it was almost like light shined out through him when he smiled. In a way that made him really hard to read. Like ( Read more... )

Woo-hoo on more money!

So I should take beginning writing at the Loft?

My health is weird, too. Sucks, don't it? Do you have to go to the doctor to figure out the thyroid stuff?

Make it not cold, Jessie! Make it not cold!

If I could do it over, I would take the beginning class instead. Plus, I am betting they require less writing. But in the first class, I think the people who read are probably the most accomplished. Even though she just randomly called on a couple.....

There's a girl who sat next to me who is probably about my skill level. And she's into fantasy. And the woman who sat next to me doesn't seem intimidating either.

So, I'm not entirely sure yet. I am glad, I think, that it is going to make me produce work, even if it is embarassing. I will learn, just like Jenny in Saundra Bernhart's class!

I went to the doctor yesterday to get my blood drawn. I hope they can fix it and it is not just my anxiety medicine deciding to work less. I don't have the money and time and energy to change medications and talk to therapists :-(

Nest Saturday we have to run the 5K!!!!! ::screams::

I was looking at the Loft's classes, and I want to take Screenwriting and Creative Nonfiction. And the Guthrie's beginning acting class. And....

You're skilled, Jessie. Other people in that room were probably just as freaked out as you were. And you're right, stepping out of your comfort zone will end up making you a better writer. GO JENNY!

Ugh. Therapists. Don't remind me.

I know!!! I'm so not ready! But I will be. Just remember the t-shirt....

As long as you can sit by some people who seem to be where you are at and/or appear non-threatening...you are probably better off in a class that is challenging than one too easy. Plus, you rock, and that's all that matters. :)

And if it makes you feel better, my class today sucked too, and I think I'll be dropping it.
