Fucking A, I am looking for jobs. Please don't let me end up jobless or working in the suburbs. Teacher fair tomorrow, and what a crap shoot that is. But Imma be there.

Jessie, the suburbs aren't that bad. :p It's where you and I came from, and those kids need good teachers too, to challenge them to think and to not just accept the status quo.

Anyway, I don't know if you read through those lengthy MEd newsletters- but this one listed the Hmong Academy Charter School as needing a HS English teacher. That's the school right next to our old apartment. You should look into that.

I don't think suburbs are bad--they are just not what I want. I do read those MEd Newsletters, I've seen the Hmong stuff--but I figured they wanted someone bilingual.

No, I think they just want an English teacher- there are other ELL positions open. It's worth looking into at least.

I saw them at the teaching fair and they asked me to email them to set up an interview.... My friend Emily was also asked to.

We'll see what happens.... I wouldn't mind working there.
