morocco. what can i say? what an adventure. such a beautiful place and so rich in history, heritage and culture. the moment you set foot on its sand its almost like you've been transported to another century. much of it was really more of an endurance test than a holiday. i lost 6kg due to acute food poisoning - (i may have to go back!) its ( Read more... )

i went to marrakech when i was far too young to appreciate it.. about 11 or 12 i think.. and it was just all too much, i really hated it. too many sheeps brains and monkeys and people pooing in the street for a young boy to deal with.

i'd probably relish it now, mind.

oh i neglected to mention the sheep heads. i've added them into the entry now. cheers for that!

i can identify with it being all too much. i got really stressed at one point and nearly had a panic attack. but it was all ok in the end. half of the holiday was relaxing at least.

definitely worth a visit though!

i love this entry! my father went to morocco a few years back, and called me at some ungodly U.S. hour to tell me how good the french fries were, haha.

i didn't see any french fries! that's pretty funny though!

i took looots of pictures--about 300. i'll do a picture post with a few when i get them all sorted out.
