Aria didn't know why these men were chasing him, one minute he'd been walking home and the next he'd realised he was being pursued. He'd sped up and started running and they'd run after him, now he was out of breath and panicked. He took a wrong turn somewhere and found himself in a dead end. He whipped around, panting, his heart racing

Puck had been behind them, seeing that the two rogue vampires were chasing a mundane and he was chasing them. A seraph blade out as he grumbled beneath his breath. It was when he saw them go down an alley, that he went into the nearest building and up a few floors. Looking out, he saw the mundane throwing his wallet at the two vampires and he shook his head. Within seconds, though, he jumped down from the balcony of the building and sliced through the vampires, ignoring their screams before he put his blade away.

Aria fell backward in shock when someone jumped down from somewhere above him and he saw something sharp and glowing move through the darkness too quickly for him to follow. He gasped as the men who'd been chasing him crumpled, blood pooling around their bodies. He felt his stomach churn and thought he might be sick, but he was too shocked and terrified to move.

Puck was convinced that the mundane couldn't see him, since he had the rune placed for invisibility placed on his forearm. He started to walk away, wiping the blood off along his pant leg, mumbling a little to himself.

But Aria could see him, and he was staring after him. He came to his senses and scrambled to his feet. "Hey, wait!.... wait, who are you? Who were those men?"
