So, Renna's a telepath. She's not a very good one (she doesn't practice or use it much), but she is one nonetheless. This would be the place where you let me know what is/isn't okay for her to know about your character.

Well... define 'not very good.' Does this mean she's capable, but uneducated, or it's just a weak power? What was she able to do in canon?

Not very good as in...very uneducated in it. She knows how to use it, but only to a certain extent. Sometimes she gets the wrong information, like if she's looking for a name (since she forgets so often), sometimes she pulls the wrong one. It's not a weak power, really...she just doesn't really know how to use it.

So it's like looking into a big box full of papers/bits with information relevant to the mind-read's current situation floating near the top kinda sorta? What kind of range does she usually have?

Yes! Pretty much like that. And her range is five to ten feet. She can't sense things over the comms. She can communicate with another tele (like Rowan), but that's about it.

Does she read emotions too or just surface thoughs?

Emotions and thoughts. She can't do it over comms though, unless she's speaking directly to another telepath.

Imma be lazy and just use what I said worked for the Rowan, lol.
She can read emotions for both of mine within line of sight/same room. Thoughts would be a little harder, but Toboe would be easier to read than Marco.
I shall try to remember to put stuff in their posts so you know :3
And if she goes digging around in Marco's head for his name she can come up with both just to be confusing ;P

She can't get anything from the Rowan that the Rowan's not letting her get. :P

For the Major (electroniccrane), it depends on a couple of things. The Major tends to think in Japanese, so if Renna's telepathy overcomes the language barrier, fine, but if not, there's not much she'll get.

Her thought processes are very orderly, but switch between her organic brain and her cyberbrain, so I have no idea how that'll work.

As for emotions, she's extremely flat, and sometimes she turns them off entirely. She's not hiding her emotions; there are genuinely few things she feels strongly.

She's contemptuous of most of the passengers, and of Redd, yet she's fairly sympathetic to the crew, Kage especially. However, she hates Guy. She likes Remy, likes, is amused by, and feels responsible for Musashi, misses someone called Ace, and is highly protective of and sympathetic to children. She loves Batou deeply, but will deny it until her batteries run down.

I have to say, I honestly love permissions posts... mostly because there's so much Andrew lies about and I'm just waiting for someone to call him out on it. Not saying you have to, but if you ever feel the urge

...She will be so confused about all those names XD She usually only tries to poke if she's forgotten the name, which is frequently.

She will most certainly not know what to think about Andrew if she ever gets the opportunity to actually poke around :O

Hmmm. Well, Ed tends to think a lot about either science or about his brother, who's this seven-foot-tall suit of armor (and noticeably taller than Ed). He also tends to think about alchemical theories and such, constantly running them through his head and thinking of how he can rework them to his own liking.

He also thinks a lot about his mother, and tends to think back to the nightmarish images from the night he tried to bring his mother back from the dead. His entire life path has been driven from that night and what happened from it, so it's understandable that he constantly rethinks it, is constantly reminded of it.
