Clint was a little confused when he woke up, but then he remembered this place with the huge, warm bed and the crazy amount of food in the fridge. Clint smiled at Kitty - he was pretty sure that was her name, after their sleepover last time he was here - and nodded. "This is Rook," he said carefully. "She's a girl." Because that was important to note.

Natalie was just in town for the morning. Just for a breather before more work in the afternoon. She was still recovering from the Jim thing and Fandom... well, Fandom tended to be full of distraction. Especially on the weekends.

As she watched the boy and the dogs with one eyebrow raised, she just felt all the more validated in that assessment.

Clint was clinging to the leashes as Lucky and Rook found some particularly interesting smell and beelined for it, and when he saw the girl looking at him, he held the leashes even tighter. "They're mine," he said, assuming the worst, that she wanted to take them away.
