Crappy day at work, awesome day at school.
I can't belive this was my last Rent-A-Senior Day. Better make the memories last.
For those of you not familliar with the custom, on rent a senior day an underclassman (or another senior) can rent a senior for 5 bucks, and for the whole day that senior does whatever they want. In general, seniors have to dress up in silly costumes, walk people to classes, do fun dances or sing silly songs when commanded to. It's pretty much awesome.
I wasn't rented, but it was much more fun to sit back and watch the chaos.
Janette and I picked up her underclassman, Brendon, at 6:45 this morning. It's still DARK outside.
First period Fundamentals: Lauren and Kerry, a.k.a. The Hulk and Oscar the Grouch.
Colin from homeroom, Michael Jackson.
Janette messed up this picture! Left to right: Janette, Courtney's underclassman Jason, Tibo (oh god) and Courtney.
Janette, Jason and Courtney. Courtney's outfit was by far one of the best, she kept running up to people in the halls asking for directions to her class and taking pictures with people on her big polaroid camera.
Tibo as a french maid. Ow, my eyes.
Steph and Matt Rosati, yet another french maid.
Cheryl and Ashley.
Ninja Turtles eating pizza! The purple one is Hannah, if you can't tell. I almost didn't recognize her in school this morning.
Phil as Princess Peach. He had a Mario and Luigi who accompanied him and if you said "Princess Peach" while he was with one of them he had to give them a kiss. That pretty much made my lifetime.
Missi, Cheryl and Cassandra.
Ohhh Matt Rutherford. Nice tiara.
And, that concludes my rent a senior day experience. This is probably the only thing I will really miss about THS. The boys in dresses.
Oh, and just for good measure.
I LOVE CANDYPANTS.
Happy Rent-A-Senior Day everyone.
