I hope that they accept your offer and everything moves forward smoothly...
I wish I had money saved up for my down, then I'd throw an offer out there too.

they did a counteroffer, but really didn't change much, we accepted it... and we signed some stuff and sent it back to them. hopefully if everything else goes smoothly we'll be closing around the end of june :D

they money i'm using for the down payment is wedding money (accident money) :o/ BUT... with the tax credit, and money we'll be saving since the mortgage is cheaper than rent, hopefully i'll be able to save a good chunk of it up and still have a snazzy party next fall. :)
