LAST FIC FOR BIG BANG~

Jan 07, 2012 13:27

Title: Dead, deader, deadest
Pairing: Bae-ri
Rating: PG
Warnings: Perhaps a bit morbid if one is squeamish about death
A/N: This is my last piece for BB fandom! I might return in a distant future, but as for now, I think not. Thanks for reading, if you have been, and let’s hope we’ll meet in other fandoms down the road~

Only an hypothesis )

This is lovely. Deep, introspective, but not heavy. Crazy, but not too much.

Oh, Seungri, Seungri, Seungri, you little loveable dork.

Oh, also, just to continue on my previous comment about writing... It seems to me like writers that just spit out a chapter every few days get more praise specifically because they're so productive -- nevermind the quality. So don't feel too bad; I mean the readers that care will see the effort and thought you've put into your writing, and they'll be willing to wait.

But, you know what, I understand your position. I've often been tempted to just give up. What's the use, you know, when the shitty writer gets more recognition? But in the end I don't care; it's not about them. *shrug*

I refuse to start my story with "omg this sucks so much but please read it anyway"... Yet people tend to go with that. Is it some kind of reversed advertisement that actually works? I sigh.I sigh, too. On the other hand, I'm pretty open about the troubles I run into when I write so I'll often talk about that as opposed to just saying "this sucks lol but plz read lyk omg ( ... )

Here's a poorly written and rushed comment from my phone:
The people who actually like those fics that sound like they were crapped out in under 10 minutes probably aren't the ones who would enjoy good fic much, tbqh. I've been out of the big bang fandom for well over a year, and I still read your fics every time I get a notification in my inbox. Good fic is good fic, please don't be discouraged if it has low readership! Many times it's just hard to find fic in general, the Internet is a big place! But in any case, I completely support your freedom to write whatever you want, just reminding you of the sad truth that popularity and quality don't usually go hand in hand, and there are readers out there who want good fic but can't find it.

Thank you for popping in and commenting :) I get warm and fuzzy when you tell me you've been reading my stories, I'm always happy for readers! But they are few, or perhaps people just don't find me. Or if they do, they leave without a trace. Sometimes it's disheartening, because I am always performing in front of a silent audience. I can't know when I'm doing well, and when I'm doing poorly. The saddest thing for me, perhaps, is that I used to have more readers, and now I seem to have close to none. It's strange, as I feel my writing only gets better --- it forces me to consider my own taste, even though my ego tells me I'm fantastic (egos are quite wonderful, aren't they). Thank you again for taking the time to cheer me up, it means a lot!

No, that's not at all what's going on here. Always a VIP. I'm just not happy with the fandom.

i'm not happy too T_T but if i love BIGBANG sincerely i'll love them with all my heart. not by leaving the fandom, but with supporting them always T_T sorry my bad english.
i respect ur opinion, but i think if this happens to me i'll always be there at least for BIGBANG.
Sometimes i am not happy with the fandom too but when i thought about Seungri i'll cry. and think i'm in this not bcz of VIP but bcz i love Seungri and BIGBANG.
sorry for my long comment.
Lastly i wanna say i love all ur fics. don't feel discouraged bcz of some random people. Take BIGBANG as an example. they go through lot of things but still standing still. ^^

I honestly believe that fanfiction is something that is fairly disconnected to our dear idols, and that Big Bang as such wouldn't care whether I stayed in or not (in fact, they'd probably be happy to see me leave, seeing as I always write about questionable themes... ^^) but I remain a huge fan and I'm still going to Big Show to scream and laugh and cry. I'm just tired of writing things that nobody reads --- or simply don't understand. It's highly discouraging.

I am so happy that you've enjoyed my fiction! I will never stop writing, but the situation is so frustrating at the moment, that I can't post anything without feeling annoyed, so I'd rather take a long break. That doesn't mean I'm dead as a writer. Thank you for reading my stories!

I...I don't even know what to say.
You, literally, brought me into this fandom.
It wasn't that you introduced me to Big Bang; even before I bothered with the whole Korean pop fandom, I had heard of them and enjoyed their music. But prior to you, I would have never considered myself a fan. Your writing made me fall completely, utterly in love with G-Ri as well as Seungri. As I read more of your stories, I couldn't help but want to know more about the actual people. So I ended up watching videos, reading fan accounts, and just understanding Big Bang a lot more. While I still can't call myself a VIP (I don't think I deserve to be one just yet because I haven't reached the level of a stan), I'm most definitely a fan now.
So thank you.

I've been a silent reader for a very long time.
I can't even remember how I ended up discovering you nor the community of writers who write g-ri in gdheartri. And it really really sucks that the fact that you're no longer going to write Big Bang is probably the reason why I've finally decided to ( ... )

I didn't know my fictional Seung-ri could actually spur someone into finding a genuine attachment to the real boy. I'm floored, and admittedly, I am slow in my response (I suppose you might have infused a bit of brain damage on this side) because my ego is swelling something immensely and on some level I know that wasn't your intent --- everyone who's read more than one of my stories can guess that my personality has traces of arrogance embedded (and maybe this is why I'm leaving, too, because I wish that people would love my lovely words as much as I love them myself), and now I am the one ranting away, not you ( ... )

I genuinely think that every writer, every one who claims to be an author, is, in some way or other, arrogant. We're all proud of what we write, and we all have this desire for other people to love it and praise our work. I think that it's because of this that we all publish and showcase our work, be it online or offline ( ... )

My ego forces me to let you know that English is my second, or third language, depending on how you look at it. Swedish is my first language, and I moved to China at a very young age, so I suppose that should make Chinese my second language? Hm. However, I have always been the most comfortable with English as my choice for stories and novels, as it comes with a certain freedom. Chinese, in comparison, is a much more structured language, and Swedish is... well, bureaucratic, really, not particularly romantic at all.

Block B intrigues me, I have no idea where they'll take me. But I see many a pairing waiting to be pawed at.

And it means so much that you'll keep reading <3

Hi, hello there. I'm about 4 months late for this but I felt bad because i'm such a silent reader. I'd only entered the fandom early this year and found some of your stuff through a fellow VIP/G-Ri shipping friend who linked me to oxygenlove's recc list ( ... )
