A big thanks to all of you that have been by the shelter. Myself and its occupants appreciate the company. It's been a trying week for all of us, but taking it one day at a time helps.

Is anyone else interested in bowling? I used to be on a team at home and find myself missing it, if anyone would like to go for a game.

I don't get the point of bowling. What's the use of a sport that isn't a contact sport?

People bowl for relaxation, competition, entertainment or what have you. Not everyone has the same taste in extracurriculars. Many people are unable to play contact sports all together or don't find them appealing or diverting, much like you see no merit in bowling.

...what's relaxing about it? All I've ever seen is people getting frustrated at gutter balls.

Ah, forgive me. I misunderstood.

Once one finds their groove, it's relaxing. Like anything else, there is a learning curve.
