My favorite memory of home? My family's kept cats for as long as I can remember, and so I'd always wake up with a kitty in my bed in the morning. And if I was sick, she'd stay with me all day.

Socks and sandals aren't so bad. My feet are warm enough. You've already done something very nice for me, you don't have to buy me shoes as well. I'll come across something when it's meant to be.

I miss them. I don't have any in my apartment, because I'm worried they'll get into my paint.

What's wrong with it? It's actually easier, because I can just put my socks through the wash once they get dirty. That's harder with shoes. It's not stealing if I give them to you.

I see, hopefully you will get to make a trip home soon. You could always visit petting hours at a local shelter, though I very much doubt it's the same.

Yes, he did. They look very nice. I haven't got there yet, but I fully intend to go to the exhibit. Did you enjoy it? I'm sure I'll find something. Maybe some consignment shops.
