there is a tree outside of my porch window that i have been watching change colors over the past couple of weeks. Last night i noticed that EVERY leaf has now fallen off, and I was caught in a moment of shock. i realized how synonomous the tree is to my life right now. I know that sounds cheesy, but it's so very true. it started green and fresh

regardless of how cruel and harsh winter is on well...everything...the leaves come back again...in due time, but only when they're ready...green and full of life and even more beautiful then they were before...and that's when you sit down, take a breath, and smell the roses and look how amazing everything really ends up being katus...
