it'll be ok, because they are on the defensive. Its your house, babe, and if you turned around and played hardball, and cancelled their contract, and told them to get the fuck out of your house, well, you'd still have a place to live, a tv, a shower curtain, and popcorn. If they continue with the passive aggressive, remind them that its YOUR house, remind them you can turf them (I'm pretty sure shower curtains aren't in the landlord-tenant act), and give them the phone number to res, then tell them the story about the prairie boys peeing in trays, freezing it, then sliding under their door. Or the black mould. If that doesn't work, well, its a shame, but there's a housing shortage in this city, and it shouldn't be too hard to find someone else who is willing to act like an adult.
