So, now that we've had His Holiness the Pope out here in Australia, I think we should invite the current Caliph leaders of Islam, too. :)

i find it rather annoying that people would attach that title (his holiness) to themselves. or others. and that people would fall over themselves in reverence to just another being. religion really baffles me sometimes.

When he held mass in... er, I think it was in New York a few months ago, they televised it on TV. With commentary, like a sports match! I couldn't help the LULZ. Did they do the same down there?

They were screening footage of people screaming and cheering as the Pope alighted from his plane, and my mother only saw the people and said: "What? Is this a documentary on the Beatles or something?" She thought it was so inappropriate that they were cheering for the Pope like he was a rock/pop star. *G*
