Ah, the memories. Look how young and fresh-faced Mulder and Scully are! Although, poor Scully; what is she wearing? Fortunately her clothes improved over the course of the series, because Gillian Anderson is gorgeous.

There was a time, in the mid-to-late 90's, where this show was the most important influence in my life. Though I'm past loving it now -- it's a bit like a boyfriend I wish well for, but I don't want to see again -- it is totally responsible for, like, so many of my tastes.

And man, for a 90's show, it was stellar. It set the bar for what you could do with a weekly tv show. On FOX, no less.

Heh. I still have a massive soft spot for this show, though it is nowhere near how much I loved it when I was watching it as it aired. :)
