Thank you, animotus, for the beautiful card!

I am now absolutely intrigued by the work of Tamara de Lempicka. The shadows, form and colours are just incredible. Oh, I LOVE this stuff. My Dad used to run a bookshop and there were a series of cards with these images on them, mostly of the kind on the left, i.e. 30s-esque ladies. I had a copy of two or three on my walls through most of scholl and uni.

It s very beautiful. The heavy shadows also remind me a little of Caravaggio, even though the styles are completely different.
