Name: Lianne "Leeya" Tenning
Age: 19

Occupation: lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the Double Taps, barrista at corner coffee shop.
Personality: Lianne is totally reckless with no regard for authority, social cues or shame. She is loud and obnoxious to a fault, a trait that she uses to her advantage by channeling it into her music, and she pushes herself onto other people, forcing her way into their lives once she has an interest in them. She does stupid things (commits stupid crimes, even) because, growing up without a family structure, she simply doesn't understand the faux pas that has been established against it.
She lacks shame and respect for gender boundaries, mostly because the kids she grew up around didn‘t bother with it when they were more concerned about eating, and partially because she even now lives with three boys and they all change together for gigs. Unfortunately, this also has less convenient applications, such as her starting to get undressed before others are out of the room, and the like. On the opposite end of the spectrum, though, she has a wide girth of personal space that she doesn't like intruded upon. Mostly, she has a zero physical contact policy.
She’s extremely vulgar, to the point where it shocks most people considering her delicate and petite stature. To see this little cute girl all of a sudden come out with swear words like you’ve never heard before has shocked more than once. Lianne likes to do everything for herself. She gets offended when people try to help her - gentlemanly acts like opening doors and pulling out chairs even makes her frustrated because she feels undermined or as though the person assumes she can’t do it for herself. She’s very defensive and aggressive because of the dog-eat-dog nature of the area she grew up in.
She’s incredibly spontaneous and always wants to be doing something, mostly because she is afraid that if she doesn’t she’ll simply be wasting her life away. When she’s not moving around, or talking your ear off, she tends to think too much and begin to brood, but this is a rarity. She hates being alone, and can’t fall asleep if she is. To the same end, she pushes people away a lot because she’s worried that they’ll leave her so she doesn’t want to get too close.
History: Lianne was born in Georgia. At 10 years old, she stole some money from her parents' wallets and her father's guitar and bought herself a bus ticket to New York. She lost the money, and wound up living on the streets in Brooklyn for a few years. By the time she was 13, she'd learned to hustle pool and was turning the money she raised on the streets as a performer into more. She met her band in the abandoned warehouse she was living out of - they were also homeless.
The owner of the bar Lianne hustled at was a friend of hers and let them borrow the stage because he was just as down on his customers as she was on her luck. As the two of them were friends, she managed to strong-arm him into letting them perform. They were undeniably good -- good enough to draw customers. The bartender/owner began to pay them when he could, and eventually they saved up enough to buy a loft. With a residence acquired, the band got day jobs - Lianne at a local coffee shop - while they awaited their big break. Unbeknownst to her band, Lianne was taking up open mics on the side, trying to get ~*discovered*~.
Unique to Meta-Human Verse: Lianne is an electrokinetic meta-human. She lives in NY2 (New New York) where a corporation is trying to hunt and experiment on meta-humans. She used to use her ability to mug people, but since she's started staying in one place, she's been in denial of it and only uses it when absolutely necessary to avoid getting caught.
