today out of boredom (christian's had an unusual, yet amazing 2 hr nap) i decided to go through my lj archive and read entries from back in 2002. i can't believe i've been journaling for over 5 years. crazy

You always hear again and again how much you have to sacrifice for your kids and also how rewarding they are. Parents are amazing to me that way.

I'm not sure that much has changed in the past five years for me. Ha, time for me to go back and read my old entries! I do miss when I first moved here to Columbus and I met a lot of my really good girlfriends. Several of them have moved away now and we still keep in touch but having all of them around then was awesome. I really miss that.

yeah, there is so much sacrifice when it comes to parenting, but i don't think there has been anything that makes me happier than to know he's mine...and the love i have for him is just insane!

i miss all the gfs i moved away from.

i miss a ton of things from the states and my single independent free life in hawaii. but we all grow and change along the way finding bumps and hills to climb..

too many things to list. Always good to look back every now and then to see how far we've come and who we are today. Now to continue to focus on the present and future :)
