Well I'm completely fucking heartbroken.  My beloved quarterback, Donovan McNabb, just got traded and I am actually tearing up.  Some people here wanted this, but I did not.

It could be worse? You could have grown up a Green Bay Packers fan and had Brett Favre be basically the only quarterback you've ever known and then had him play for your most hated rival and still love him anyway?

There's no such thing as proportional responses when it comes to sports. And if someone claims that there are, they are not really fans. I firmly believe this.

SO TRUE, that sucked so much for you guys. I watched that first game he played against Green Bay. Everyone was so angry at him, but still loving him at the same time, and he was all emotional...that was intense.

THANK YOU. I fully know that this isn't some life or death thing, but I don't care, I'm seriously emotionally invested. And it's completely impossible to explain to people who just don't get it. It's either a way of life for you, or it isn't.

It's just been a really shitty off-season, as far as losing players goes. Lost my three favorite Eagles within a year, plus my favorite Phillies pitcher and basketball player. Yuck.
