dear morons:

deleting communities to protest all this nipple crap is doing more of a disservice to your members than it is making a point to The Man. now stop being whiny babies and inconveniencing everyone around you.

they were only deleting for a day, I guess to make a point or something. I doubt LJ even noticed. anyway, most of them are back, but breastfeeding, boobie_bootcamp, may2004 (my daughter's birth-month group) crunchy_sales, and a bunch of others were all gone.

(I stumbled upon you through , which, incidentally, was one of the comms offline during that whole protest thing, in case you're wondering.)

yes, I know diy_fluff was one of the deleted ones *sigh* it's not just that I think the whole thing was stupid, it's that I think it was pointless. I seriously doubt livejournal or sixapart even noticed. or as the moderator of boob_nazis (who refused to delete, in spite of being called "not hardcore enough" over it) said, one whole day of not getting harassed by any breastfeeders! livejournal probably appreciated it...

I just stopped by to say I love you for being the only one in twoundertwo who didn't say "the bad cramps are normal, but call your OB anyhoo!" and then I find this. AMEN! x1000. When I heard about that "protest" I wondered how many mamas without help gave into the bottle that day.

Can I be your friend? I may be weird, but I can safely say the only thing I hit my kid with is imaginary Harry Potter hexes.

you can be my friend, but I hardly update this journal as it's mostly for being on groups with. you may want to check out my "real" journal schneckerock.

which, by the way, I have that birth icon as the default of. so when I came here to answer your comment I at first couldn't find it because I saw the icon and thought it was (the other) me. I'm dumb.

You're right, the other journals' more active and still a lot about your kids, as moms' journals invariably are. :) I've friended that one.

I added you back (to the other journal) so now you can see all my super-secret friends locked stuff. heh.
