You kept dodging the expected, which really kept me hooked thruout...(I really like how the big build up for the song was Artie-blown out of the water. clever and a bit cruel. hehe) And Santana's confusion and hurt and stubbornness was pretty perfect and painful to "watch".

Good job! You really don't suck. At all. ;) Hope to see more.

I couldn't let Santana get the girl right away, could I? The way Santana dismissed Brittany in Duets was pretty cruel, regardless of her reasons and I'm still holding a grudge.

Anyway, I'm glad you liked it. :) I too hope there will be more Brittana fic on my LJ.

I love that you made this an open ended fic. Although it's not really a happy ending, it at least still has whatever the small glimmer of hope left for us Brittana shippers. :(

Santana is such an interesting character. I cannot, for the life of me, understand why the writers haven't given her some background. I just like to see her as a very driven (even if it out of all the wrong reasons) person who needs to be in control, because when she's not (like with doing something she's not quite good at, but trying to prove a point, regardless), she shuts down and draws back. I like to think that she goes to regroup and try again. Therefore I couldn't just give her a happy ending right away. She needs to work for it.
