I was watching the Real World yesterday and I just started writing lyrics. They are not great and are a bit abstract, but I thought I'd give it a shot.
Her kiss void of meaning
Leaves a modern Midas dreaming
Regret has no place
For the lens hides all shame
Lust the glass the takes away the pain
Shoot up, get glad
The innocence is gone
The boy dies, too bad
At least he had fun
Around the maple the lion sits
Exposure egnites when he slips
In a haze of pleasures the bride was burnt
The cuts were deep, inclined steep
He askes them, "were they hurt?"
Fill a spot, do a show
"Yeah, you're hot. C'mon, let's go."
The young get younger
And the old have no say
Live to the trend
Every single day
Truth and reconciliation
Hidden from the nation
We'll crash and burn if we don't learn
What we are to become
He looked at me, said, "you're crazy.
I'm having too much fun."
