Hey isiah, I was wondering if you could do me a favor and look at a friends website for me, find the security flaws it has. Its in PhpBB and hes been hacked at least 3-4 times. I cannot tell if the guy bruteforced his way in or what but the fact that I can see part of the coding in some of his pages is a little disturbing. If you dont have the time ( Read more... )

A link to the page would help. =P But yea, I can glance at it. It would actually help me more to see his code though, I'm a lot better at analyzing code than I am at finding my way blind.

I kinda figured that seeing the code would help, but I can'tget him to give me a copy of his site so you can look at it. Best I could get was just his agreement for me to have you look at his site from where it is. http://ranmafans.net

But yea, I'm not gonna be able to do much without at least logs, and probably access to any custom code they've written. If he doesn't wanna trust anyone, ::shrug:: have fun trying to figure it out.
