This is just lovely - not at all something I would have thought I'd like, but you have the characters nailed and have imagined this world they all live in so thoroughly that it's completely moving and believable and... Awesome. Fabulous job.

My Belated, Completely Incoherent, Actual Review

First of all, how precious is bb!Charlie? I just want to snuggle him forever.

The thing about Charlie: he only needs to be taught once in order to learn his lesson.

Perfect. Absolutely perfect. That whole passage, the descriptions of who Lincoln and Olivia are supposed to be and who they actually are, is just perfect.

And then Charlie’s the exception that proves the rule, and I just want to smish him forever because OH MY GOD CHARLIE.

Spanish or possibly Mandarin Hee!

Charlie calling him “Fake Broyles” and not being sorry, but making it up for it anyway for Olivia is such a nice touch, and it’s the kind of thing I really, really love about having Our!livia on the Other Side.

But he’s also part of a team and that means everything.
The truth is he hates badly hidden agendas just as much as he hates vacations.Okay, you are obviously Charlie in disguise, because this is so completely him that I can’t even. That explains so much

The way you create such fully realized worlds when you write never ceases to amaze me. This is so beautiful. It's lighthearted and achy in all the right places and the team dynamic between those three is perfect. I especially love the way you flesh Alt!Charlie out here, his backstory broke me. So good. And the OT3 vibes! GUH. MY HEART.

If it wasn't so late, I'd say more, but for now: this completely blew me away. Amazing fic. <333

Love this backstory for Alt!Charlie! I also love that you gave him a history with John Scott, since I've been interested in the idea of that pairing in our!verse ever since the whole "he said he loved me too" thing - maybe when I've finished my other million and one Fringe WIPs?

Me too! It was one of the reasons I had to include John/alt!Charlie. It was too good to pass up. But I would totally read Charlie/John in our!verse. I'll take slash in Fringe wherever I can get it.
