i have to get up early tomorrow to pick up my dad from the doctor because he has to have his first annual colonoscopy or whatever its called. super lame and super gross. apparently people used to be awake during this procedure. but now we all get drugged up. i dont blame them. but, my dad still could have asked me when a good time was for me, ya ( Read more... )

devyyyyyn im sorry we have to clean the whole house cuz thanksgiving is at our house this year and i live with messy people!!! how long are you in town?! i do really want to see you!!!! i <3 you!!!!!

yay!!! that would be lovely! i bought this cheating circular loom thingy and i still messed up a simple beanie! haha. but it was my first one, i suppose i shouldnt worry...

My pops and a friend of my mom's just had to have that done and they were wide awake for it. My pops even said he watched the camera action. BLEH!

Yeah, knowing how to knit would help. :-p

haha yeah they used to always do it with you awake i guess. does that mean my dad opted to be asleep? cuz it was the first time in like 5 or 6 years since he stopped drinking that he was "out of it" and he was apprehensive about it. but oh man he was pretty loopy. it was funny. but yeah, steve is the kind of person who would want to see the camera action. im the kind of person who wants to not remember it happened. at all.

my dad was so loopy he even told me about the laxatives they gave him for the night before the surgery. and how well they worked. yeah. haha.

I think my dad had to administer an enema as well. Double bleh.
