To all my peeps that aren't playing MbN - in february(or maybe march, I suck at dates) MbN is moving to Vampire: Requiem. Huzzah! For everyone that does not own the new WoD book and Vampire:Requiem, buy them. Do not question me. Just buy them ( Read more... )

I already talk like a pirate, roughly. I threaten people, claim what's not mine to claim, decent with a sword, and shoot things. Okay, that's more of a lifestyle than a way of speech, but still.

Deava with a Vice in Greed/Gambling
Former Mob guy who's life has pretty much been directed since his birth by the person he now calls sire.
Probably very young, young enough to not have chosen a covenent yet but he is being pushed towards his sire's which is Crone I believe. I'm looking in to what skills to take for being a "card shark" and playing around with virtues as well as Merits and Flaws. This is probably not what I'll end up playing for the game but this is the concept I'm using to test out the system.

I like chcolate pudding, no other kind will do.

I'd talk like a pirate Sunday but... I don't own a cool eye patch like Robert does.

I totally question you, why should I buy the new WoD and get the new vampire? Heck I don't even like vampire... and CoC does supernatural horror pretty dang well. Convince me man.

Well, if you dont like Vampire, then dont get it, makes total sense.
The new WOD is nice though.

Agreed. At least get the new Wod book. The system is insanely simple yet comprehensive. The setting is gorgeous. The books are gorgeous. The (everything) is (everything good). as for vampire, I recommend borrowing it. Enough of the old crap has changed to make vampires new again to a lot of people, but familiar enough for you to be comfortable if you liked old vampire. All the old politics and social mores are gone, though.
