Games Day is basically Games Workshop's(of warhammer and warhammer 40k fame) own personal con. I know most of the people that read my lj do not play warhammer, so I will spare them the details. Here's a good idea of how it is:
Imagine DragonCon. Now imagine DragonCon without the variety. Now take away the three days.
Take away the computers.
Take away the multitude of attractive women in very little clothing.
Take away the cosplay(hey, not everything is negative...)
Having said all that, I had an assload of fun. I finally got to play a pseudo-game of warhammer 40k, got to see some badass painting and got to feel better about my love of larping. And I did get to yell like a retard. I MAKE WEBS!!!
