So he walked within five feet of me twice today and didn't say a word. Maybe I should have looked him in the eye, forcing him to acknowledge my presence, but what purpose would it serve? What could he say? What could I? I would have had to repress and control the anger I feel every time he snubs me. To show anger would be to show how he gets to me

You would be insignificant if he didn't try and ignore that you were there. Just by the fact that he feels he can't look you in the eyes means it's not as easy for him as he lets on... Keep you're head up, you're special and deserve someone who knows it.
